Levy
I woke up and stretched then got out of bed, I was excited to be with Gajeel today. Without him being all motion sick like he was all day yesterday.
I got ready and went into the hall way. I was going to wake up Gajeel when Snow ran up to me.
"Good morning, Levy," she smiled.
"Good morning," I smiled back.
I liked Snow, she was nice. But I felt so bad about her brother, it must be heart breaking to lose him.
"I want to show you something!" She grabbed my hand and led me down the hallway.
She opened a big door and pulled me into the biggest library I've ever seen.
"Oh my god!" I gasped
"I knew you'd like it," she smiled.
I noticed her hair was completely black, but I didn't want to ask any questions so I focused on the huge library.
"You can read whatever you want, I want you to be prepaired 100% when you save my brother!" she smiled.
"Oh wow thank you!" I smiled back.
I looked around the library and grabbed a huge stack of books.
I got my reading glasses so I could read them faster. It seemed like hours I was reading all those books, but I finally finished a huge stack.
I looked around some more and saw a huge book that looked really old. I tried to reach it but it was on a high shelf.
A long arm behind me got it, "of course you'd be in the library shrimp," Gajeel said handing me the book. He smiled slyly and I felt my cheeks get hot.
"Thank you," I said.
"Why do you need to study? The only thing we have to do is kick some ass then get back the boy," he said.
"No! I've found some information in these books," I led him to the table I was sitting at with the pile of books.
"See," I opened a green book, "it talks about stealing magic, how magic runs through the blood stream and if someone has the power to control the blood they can steal your magic."
He stared at the print seriously. "So you think Roy can control blood?" he asked.
"Maybe, Snow said he wanted her brothers magic."
"Anything else?" he asked looking bored already.
"This is serious!" I slapped his arm softly. "In this other book I read that dragon slayer magic can only be truly controlled by the person who learned it from a dragon, so Roy might not be able to control the magic and it'll mutate him!"
"Then kick his ass before he takes the boys magic," Gajeel said.
I rolled my eyes, "its more dangerous than that!"
He lifted one eye brow, "how so?"
"He has the power to control someone, remember how she said she blacked out then woke up with her siblings dead? he can do that!" I worried that he could do that to Gajeel, imagining losing him to some guy using him as a pupet made me feel sick.
"Then we kick his ass," he smiled and rubbed my head completely messing up my hair, "don't worried shrimp I'll protect you."
I felt my cheeks get hot and I looked down hoping he wouldn't see me blushing.
"Gehi," he laughed "you're cute when you blush," he smiled at me.
"I'm not blushing!" I denied, "I'm embarrassed that you act like I need you to defend me all the time!"
He said I'm cute! I felt my cheeks burning but I wanted them to stop, he couldn't know that I like him, even though I have no romantic feelings for him! But I knew I did, it just seemed best to lie to myself and maybe it would come true.
He smiled at me and pulled my bandana off.
"Hey give that back!" I reached for it but he used his long arms to keep it away from me.
"You look cuter with out it," he said.
I sat back down and gave up, he was huge there's no way I could grab it.
He sighed then gave it back to me, "you're unhappy face makes me feel bad shrimp."
"You know what would make me happy?" I asked grabbing my bandana from him, "if you call me by my name instead of making fun of my height." I stuck my tougue out at him childishly.
He rubbed my head messing up my hair even more.
"Why are you so mean to me?" I asked.
"I'm not mean," he said frowning, "I'm just joking with you."
I frowned at him, he was so handsome. I never noticed before but he had huge eyes, they were deep scarlet. I seemed to get lost in them.
"What are you starring at?" he asked looking confused.
I panicked, "an idiot."
"And you say I'm mean?" he tilted his head.
"You are!" I accidentally yelled.
"Fine if I'm so mean I'll just leave you and your books alone since that's all you seem to care about anyways." He said with hurt in his eyes then he got up and walked off.
I realized what I just did and ran after him, "Gajeel! wait."
"What?" he stopped and turned around.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean you didn't do anything," I starred down.
"Oi, look at me," he said putting his hand under my chin picking up my head. "I know I can be a huge jerk and I'm sorry, alright?"
"Why are you apologizing I'm the one who got mad for no reason," I looked up at him.
"You're usually nice to me, and I don't deserve it. After what I did to you and your guy friends, I'm surprised you don't hate me," he took his hand off my face leaving a warm feeling.
"You've saved me three times, it doesn't matter anymore," I smiled at him, "so we're all good 'Kay?"
"Yea okay," he smiled back.
"Uh, so when do you wanna go save Snow's brother?" I asked.
"I dunno, maybe tomorrow," he shrugged, "since you were here all day and we need to be fully rested for the battles tomorrow."
I nodded in agreement.
He pulled some iron out of his pocket and started eating it.
"How can you eat that?" I crossed my arms.
"Want some?" he leaned in towards me with some iron sticking out of his mouth.
I pushed him away "no thanks."
"Gehihi," he laughed and walked out of the library.
