Jerome's breakdown

Jerome's POV

After they told me and Kat that they don't know what's wrong with him and they're going to keep him for a while I tensed

"What?!" I shouted shooting up

The doctor got nervous "sir please we're trying our best" he said

"How long do you think?" Kat asked she sounded heart broken

"We don't know but we are trying we have and we are testing his blood and spit" the doctor said

Kat nodded "ok...." she said

The doctor then left and I looked at Kat

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" I shouted

She then slapped me "will you just grow up!" She shouted

I held my face and saw she was in tears

"This is the best place for him!" She shouted

I looked down not wanting to say anything else I was angry tired and depressed

"L-Let's just go home......" she said

I nodded and we walked out before I did I saw a kid recording

We got to the car and we both got in

We didn't say anything to each other

I then got s text and waited until we stopped at a light to read it

It's was Adam

Adam: sure but have you seen the video of the girl slapping you? And who is the girl?

I bite my lip and decided the text him back later

When we got to the house I got out

Kat as well

We entered the house

"Rob?" I called trying not to show I'm scared

Nothing.

I ran upstairs as fast I could and went to the babies room

Before I could opened the door I heard crying and I panicked

I pushed opened the door and saw everyone crying and saw a baby on the floor in Robs clothes

I dropped to my knees as tears rolled down my face

"R-Rob......" I said so weak I didn't even know it was my voice

The baby cried and reached for me

I picked him up and sat with tears

Kat then came up and saw me

"I-Is that.......?" She asked

"Y-Yes....." I said

She came to me and hugged me

Even after I yelled at her and she slapped me she hugged me

We were both in tears everyone was

She then got up picked up Mitch and Preston and put them on the floor and then Vikk and Lachlan and then Bell

I put Rob down next to Preston and sighed

Kat sat next to me and we watched as they stopped crying and played with Rob like a new friend
