Donatello's New Family ~* COMPLETED *~

Chapter 7

     Samantha's alarm went off as she got up and out of her bed going in the bathroom. Once she got done and walked out after flushing the toilet she went out to the living room as she held her frog Princess looking at the couch then looked scared.
    She saw somthing green on the couch as she quickly ran to her mom's room and got on the bed yelling. " Mommy! There is somthing big and green on our couch!"
    Rachel grunted and sat up rubbing her eyes as she looked at her little girl. " thats a guest Samantha so be nice to him."
    Then the house phone started ringing as she got up and headed to the phone that was on the wall in the kitchen. She grabbed it as she said. " hello?"
    Donnie wolk up looking over to Rachel as he saw her face as she looked uneasy. " Who is it?"
    She looked to him as she finely spoke. " You come near our kids then I will call the police... yes I will! I called them when you go so drunk almost beating Max! I will call them again!"
     Donnie got up as he saw Rachel shaking from yelling as she was about to speak again but Donnie grabbed it and pulled her to his plastron as he spoke for her. " if you come near them or Rachel I will come after you myself!"
    " Who the hell is this!" Frank said on the other line as Donnie smirked while Rachel looked up at Donnie surprised but also feeling better in his green arms. " I'm the one you shot a few weeks ago."
    Rachel just looked at Donnie as she could hear Frank cursing and yelling on the other line. But she was more focused at how calm Donnie looked as he listened to Frank's yelling with his arm still around her.
    As Donnie had enough he hanged up as he then looked at Rachel. " what on earth made you see in that man?"
     "He was a kind man when we first dated and married... but then he started to work for a stranger and always gone all the time getting more mad and violent..." before she could say more Donnie got her in a hug with both his arms as he had her close as she looked up to him.
     " I'm here for you if you ever need my help." As he said that he then pulled a little away as they looked at each other in their eyes.
    Rachel didn't push away as Donnie started to lean slowly down to her as then Samantha came out and looked at them as she slightly screamed. " Max the green monster is attacking mommy!"
    Donnie let's Rachel go fast as he put his hands up. "I'm not going to hurt your mother. I was just... comforting her."
    Max came out fast as he saw Donnie up and went to Sam. "It's okay sis he is a friend of moms. "
    Rachel blushed at thinking that she almost let Donnie kiss her as she then went to the kitchen to get breakfast ready.
     Donnie came over as he got on one knee as he looks at the two kids. " Hey I'm Donatello but you can call be Don or Donnie."
    " I'm Max. I dragged you in the house last night before those men found you." Max said with a smile with his actions on saving Donnie.
     " You are? Well then I guess I should thank you shouldn't i?" Donnie said chuckling at the boy as he then looked to Sam. " you must be Samantha."
     She looked at him while hugged her frog Princess close to her face as she started to get shy nodding her head. Donnie smiled at her kindly as he put his hand out to her. " It's nice to meet you."
    She looked at him then grabbed his hand as they shaked making her laugh a little.
     " Come to the table to eat guys." Rachel said as she got to the table placing plates of food down as Sam and Max got to the table as Rachel looked at Donnie. " I made you a plate too Don."
    Donnie got up walking over to the table as he sat down and looked at Rachel. " Thank you."
    " No problem." Rachel said then the phone again ringed as she went over as she spoke. " hello? Oh hi principle Dranda what can I help you for?"
   She stood there at first as Donnie would watch her as he eat with little bites.
     " What? But...oh okay thank you for letting me know... bye." Rachel then hanged up as she placed a hand on her face.
    " What's happened?" Donnie asked as he stood up while she lopked at him removing her hand from her face. " I have work today and Samantha's school is closing for three days... I better call work and let them know I can't come in..."
    Donnie grabbed her hand from dialing the number as he had her look to him. " I can watch her for you."
    " But your still wounded... she is a very big handful I have been told." Donnie chuckled as he let her hand go. " I have a young brother that acts like a 10 year old some days. I think I can handle Samantha."
     Rachel smiled and hugged Donnie as she then kissed his cheek. " Thank you so much Don. I don't know how to repay you."
    " You don't have to repay me. Just make sure you get to work and do your best while I and Samantha have a good time play board games."
     " okay... but please call me if you hurt yourself to much that you are bleeding or can't move..." Donnie looks at her and nods his head. " I will."
    Rachel then looked over at Max as she went over. " Eat up Max we need to head out."
    Max then finished eating fast as he then went to his room getting dressed as well as Rachel.
    Donnie then lopked at Sam as she was eating her eggs with the yellow yoke on her face as he smiled. " Well this is going to be fun."
