Donatello's New Family ~* COMPLETED *~

Chapter 22

    Rachel was in her bed not feeling to well as she was having a slight fever. It started last night after Donnie was getting her blood samples.

~  Flash Back ~

     Rachel was on the counter while Donnie started to clean the area on her arm as she tensed up. Donnie must have noticed as he looked up to showing a worried look. " Rachel you sure your okay with this this?"
    She just smiled with her eyes closed and nod her head as Donnie then grabbed the needle getting it ready. " okay hold still."
     As she watched Donnie get the needle closer to her arm she felt her heart racing all of a sudden as well as her breathing. So as she saw the needle go in she turned away shutting her eyes.
    Donnie was luky to find a good vain as he quickly took the needle part out with the back piece. So he then grabbed two little blood containers as he then pushed it in and her blood started to come out.
    Donnie looked at her as he could see her as if about to have at heart attack or somthing. Once one was full he quickly pulled it out and shaked it then put the other one in. " Your doing great Rachel just a few more seconds."
     She only nod her head as he then pulled the last one out and shook it too. Donnie then grabbed some wraps wrapping her arm where he needled.
     Rachel opened her eyes as she looked at Donnie while he wrapped her up then gave her a light kiss on her arm. Donnie looked at Rachel and noticed she was all of a sudden sweating. " Rachel are you sick?"
    He placed his hand on her head felling like she was on fire. So he then picked her up and started to the hallway. " come on let's get you in the shower-"
    " No... I just want to lay down..." Rachel said as she got on her feet to head to her bed. " But Rachel your running a high fever we need to cool you down..."
      As Donnie then touched Rachels shoulder she slammed it away from her. " I said I'm just tired!"
     She saw Donnie looking at her shocked and worried as she looked shocked herself and just ran in her room and locked it.

~    Flash Ends ~
      She was aware of her suroundings but she felt like she was going to just start on fire on her bed curled up in a ball. She didn't want to see Donnie's face again of shock that it even scared her to much that she was not leaving her room.
    Her arms where around her ribs as she started to then grunt and moan in pain. ' Stop hurting stop hurting.... God it hurts!'
    Donnie was in the kitchen waiting for the results sense he had nothing else to do. He already took the kids to school and called Rachel in for work in witch John sounded shock to here Donnie at her place.
     Donnie sighed and looked over at the hall way and stood up. He walked down the hall and stood at her door as he tried to think of somthing to say. He was surprised that she snapped like that but it worried him that he has not hurd from her all day yet.
    So he took in a breath and knocked on her door. " Rachel?... Rachel please come out... I don't want you to be alone in your room locked up..."
     He didn't hear anything as he started to turn but as he did he heard a loud thud and went back to her door. " Rachel! Rachel you okay!"
    Still no answer as he grabbed her door nob trying to turn it and get in. But as he didn't want to wast any more time he ran at the living room then turned back to the hall way running right at her bedroom door.
    But once he got in he saw Rachel on the ground with her chest rising up and down to fast that Donnie ran to her and picked her up. " Rachel where are you hurting!"
    She didn't answer as he felt her body getting more warmer so he started to the bathroom and place her in the tube about to turn on the water. But Donnie then heard glass brakeing every where as he got up and ran out to the living room to grab his bowstaff but then saw the foot ninjas there. " What.... what do you want!"
     Donnie then heard the foot ninjas also coming out of her bed room as he backed up slowly. One ninja came infront to him as he stuck his hand out. " We want the girl. Give her to us then you and the kids will not be harmed."
    Donnie's hands clinched hard as he yelled out. " over my dead body!"
    The ninja was about to grab Donnie but he quickly blocked his hand and punched his face as Donnie then started to the bathroom. But as he got to the door a whip want around Donnie as he looked behind seeing Karai.
    Karai pressed the button as electric went right over to Donnie as he yelled in pain. Donnie struggled to get free as he then landed on his knees. " Rachel!"
     A loud rawr came as ever one looked at the bathroom as Karai stopped the electric while Donnie fell on the floor. Donnie opened his eyes barely seeing as he could see Rachel but she looked different as her eyes where like as wild animal.
    Rachel stood up and growled as she walked over to the ninjas but as she got right infront of Donnie she looked at him as he then closed his eyes as she looked at the ninjas but one then came and hit her stomach as she then got knocked out as he caught her. " we got the girl know let's go."
    All the ninjas started to leave as Karai got her whip off Donnie then started to run too. But as theh all got in the living room Donnie came thru and charged at them as Karai grunted and used her whip again.
     Donnie at first dogged it but it then got ahold of him as she pressed the button and thru him to the ground. As Donnie landed on the ground he then got up and yelled. " Bring Rachel back!"
    " Foolish turtle." Karai said as she then ran at Donnie and kicked him hard in the face knocking him out cold. " I guess we are bringing you too turtle."
