liana welcomes the stranger

"Thanks Angela merry Christmas!" Cheered Liana as she walked out of the toyshop, arms full of wrapped toys that she had just bought. She started to walk the scenic route back to her inn, as she walked back she could hear the townsfolk talking about a city man, Liana wasn't one to gossip so she paid no attention to these things and waved them off. But that didn't mean she wasn't curious about them, suddenly, a man bumped into her, making her drop all of her gifts, she chuckled and looked at the man "gotta be more careful then that stranger!" She smiled and began picking up all of her gifts, she could feel his gaze upon her as she picked them up. It made her feel uncomfortable, in all honesty. But when she was done she extended her hand out ready to shake "Liana Frostinn" he took it and smirked "Aron Linston" she studied his features as he did the same, Black hair and icy blue orbs which have a kind of comfort to her "where are you going, Aron?" Liana asked politely, he pulled out a piece of paper and gave it to her 'Jack Frost's retreat' she smiled brightly "well your in luck, my freind! I run the inn. Follow me" she motioned for him to follow her as she made her way back to the inn. She noticed that his eyes held a sort of disturbance, so she tried to start a convocation "so Aron, what made you come to winter swallows?" He sighed deeply, "my parents"
"Really? Why?"
"To...learn"
"OK...why, of all places did your parents pick here?"
"This is apparently the most friendly town in the country, my parents worry"
"Ah, so where were you planning to go instead? New mexico or Hawaii?"
"What? How did you know I have a lot of money?"
"Your clothes, and that watch there"
"Oh, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I only have a few hundred pounds"
"Im not dissapointed, I'm happy that you have less to spend. Makes the festive season more jolly"
"How?"
"Well, at some point your gonna come across barney the homeless man. Your gonna give him some money and then your gonna find Charlotte and your gonna donate to her and at the end of the day you will be happy that you have done what you did"
He stared at her blankly, as if trying to comprehend what she just said. Liana smiled as she saw her beloved inn "here we are!" She cheered as she opened the door to her inn "Liana have you been to Angela's shop again?" Said one of her employees, smiling knowingly as her co workers went to help Liana with her pile "its good for the children" Liana offered, she grabbed Aron's arm and introduced him "Samie this is Aron, he's going to be staying with us for..?" She looked at Aron, unsure on how long he will stay "The whole festive season" he grumbled, anyone would of gone wide eyed but Liana just smiled happily "show him to his room would ya?" She asked nicely, Samie took Aron's luggage and lead him up to his room while he followed with a suspicious look on his face "he's a bit shiny for the locals isn't he?" Asked tom, another one of her employees. She nodded and knew that the locals would never leave him alone while he looks like a walking mannequin. She had to give him some clothes so he would blend in, "tom, is there still some spare clothes in the storage space?" Tom nodded and set off to go get them, Liana checked the books while signing Aron in. She smiled, knowing she was going to be very well acquainted with her new freind.
