I have the best wife ever, Harrison thought to himself as he walked into their bedroom after getting home from his preseason game. Carrie looked like she was feeling much better as she was sitting up and had changed into something cooler.

She was sitting up against the headboard with Gary sprawled across her lap. Harrison smiled as soon as he saw what she was wearing. Carrie was wearing his jersey. Not the usual ones fans bought, but one of his real ones. It was made of heavier duty fabric, it had his gold captain's patch, and was synched at the arms like his real jersey was.

She ran her fingers through her long hair as he mumbled, "woah."

He came over to her bedside. Harrison was about to ask how she was feeling, when she interrupted him.

"You remember missing that tackle?"

"Um... yeah."

"Stop trying to be cool and make a one handed tackle. Wrap him up with both arms and take him down."

Harrison laughed. "Looks like somebody's feeling better."

"I'm just trying to tell you-" His laughter once again interrupted her. "It was embarrassing."

"Alright Carrie."

"Mommy!"

Riley came running in and jumped on the bed. "I wish you could've been there mommy. Grandma and I were lonely."

"I'm sorry sweetie. I'm feeling a lot better now."

"That's good."

Harrison stretched out by laying back on Carrie so his head was rested in her lap. "Excuse me?"

He looked up at her. "What?"

"Who said you could lay here?"

"I did," he answered. "You're pretty comfortable."

Riley crawled over to Harrison. After Gary moved out of her way, she crawled onto Harrison and laid flat on his chest. "Hi Riley."

She stretched out. "I'm only doing like you're doing to mommy."

Both of them laughed. "Riley you tell daddy he's lucky. You're not as heavy as he is."

After putting Riley to bed, Harrison came to bed himself. He was exhausted from the game this afternoon. Even though it was the fourth preseason game and the starters hardly played, Harrison saw a lot of playing time.

Carrie was in the bathroom when he came back into their bedroom. "How are you feeling? If I may add, you seem like you're feeling better. Especially after I came home."

She nodded. "The fever broke not long after you left. I was going to come, but I figured it was best to stay here. I'd hear it for coming."

"Yeah you probably would. I need you there next weekend. That's when it really matters."

"I'll be there."

Carrie passed behind him. "I was really thinking after you left. Last time I got sick like this, I was pregnant. Do you think?"

"You got sick right when you got pregnant with Riley?"

She nodded. "I just didn't tell you the reason because it was your Christmas present. Seriously, do you think I could be pregnant?"

"Maybe," he answered. "It's about time you should be pregnant."

Carrie gave him a shove as he walked out of the bathroom laughing. "It's not my fault!" She giggled. "Maybe it's you!"

"Doubt it," he teased back with a playful smile.
