He yelled in my face. His veins popping out of his forehead. His face red with anger. "What are you so afraid of?!" He yells.

My dad had been like this ever since my mom left him with me.

"You!" I yell, my voice cracking and my eyes sinking into my face.

Next day at school, I was walking around and all I heard was my father's voice.

"What are you so afraid of?"

"What are you so afraid of?"

I run into the bathroom and lock the stall behind me. "You can hear you sobbing from a mile away." A voice says. "Come on out."

"No thanks." I answered.

"Why? What are you so afraid of?"
