We woke up snuggled in each other's arms warm and safe. He mumbled my name when I began to stir. I looked out the window.

"Avriel! Avriel Benjamin!" It was rude to wake him up that way and I really didn't want to. He looks so at peace and cute when he's sleeping, but he needed to see what I saw out the window.

The mountain tops had a facelift of snow, not a single ridge was bare. The tree line also had a fresh blanket of white. The drive up the cabin was under the same white heavy blanket, many feet thick. The landscape was beautiful and terrifying. It was untouched by any creature, pristine, crisp, and white, but there was no way to tell what was where underneath all that snow.

Behind me, Avi yawned stretched, growled and grumbled as he slowly sat up. I heard him gasp. He must have looked out the window. I heard his feet touch down on the floor, his weight shift off the bed, and the blanket being drug across the floor. He wrapped my naked self in the warmth of the blanket and his arms then gently kissed my cheek.

"Good morning, Love?" He turned and look out the window. His face reflected the same awe and wonder I was feeling.

"It's beautiful, dangerous, but beautiful. We clearly aren't going anywhere today. Not sure I would risk going out in so much snow in an unfamiliar place." He kissed me quickly.

"I'll check our flights and extend our stay if needed. We might just be stuck here for awhile." He slipped from under the blanket and went in search of his robe and phone. He pushed a few buttons, made a few phone calls then returned to me. I hadn't left the window.

"Over 8 feet of snow fell overnight. It was unexpected. Our flight has been canceled as the airport is closed and not likely to open until late Tuesday afternoon. They won't be able to get the road cleared for us to drive down until Tuesday morning at the latest, but they will clear the roads. So," he paused and looked into my eyes. I was terrified until I saw the gentle smile in his. "we are officially snowed in." He took a deep breath and held it. He put a finger to my lips when I tried to speak. "We have enough food and wood to last us two weeks. We will be fine. We can call our parents and whatnot later. For now," that pause, those smiling mischievous eyes, those lips, "come here."

Those words made me shiver. He grabbed the edges of the blanket and pulled me to him. He placed one hand on my jaw and brought his lips to mine. The kiss started off gentle and patient but soon became hard and needy. He slid his arms into the blanket to find my body. I let it fall to the floor so that I could wind my arms around his neck. With his hands on my hips, he pulled me tight against him. His robe was thin enough for me to feel his growing arousal. I reached down and untied the belt of his robe, then I put my hands in the shoulders and pushed it off of him. He pushed me back guiding my body towards the window while continuing to kiss me. He kissed his way to my ear.

"Turn around, please." He whispered. I easily complied, allowing him to turn me. He had me so close to the window, I put my hands on the window to stop my body from touching the cold glass. He lined himself up behind me, grabbed my hips, and slid himself inside of me. With his left hand securely on my hip, he brought his right hand up to cover mine on the glass and entwined our fingers. I pressed my forehead against the glass and rocked my hips back into him for leverage. We found a rhythm together and soon we found our release. I slumped forward against the window on my forearms.

"Wow. If we had neighbors anywhere close, they would have just gotten a show." I giggled to myself. I could feel him chuckle behind me as he slid out.
