Chapter 26

Emily's pov: I got off the plane and my dad was there waiting for me. "Daddy!" I yelled. I ran over to him and gave him a hug. "What are you doing here?"

"I have a meeting soon so I thought I would drive you home before it started."

"Awesome. I missed you so much." We got my luggage and he carried it out to the car for me. He put it in the back and then got in. The whole way home we talked about my trip. It was so good to see him. I missed him so much.

"I have some good news and some bad news." my dad told me.

"Ok" I said "bad news first I guess."

"I'm going to China for a month on business"

"Oh" I said letting it sink in. "Whats the good news?"

"I'm not going to work tomorrow so we can spend the whole day together."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yup. We can do whatever you want." I'm excited to spend time with my dad. I cant remember the last time we spent the whole day together. When we got home I said good by and got out of the car. I grabbed my luggage from the back and waved to him as he pulled out of the drive way. I went inside and brought my suitcase up to my room. "Crap!" I said. I completely forgot to text Taylor.

Taylor's pov: I got of the plane and got my luggage my grandpa picked me up from the airport and brought me home. I wondered why Emily didn't text me yet. I hope she's ok. Just then my phone rang with a text from her. She was ok and had just gotten side tracked with her dad. I texted her back that it was ok and I loved her. I told her I would talk to her later cause I was going to take a nap.

Emily's pov: The house is so quiet with no one here. I went into the movie room and watched tv all day. eventually I went up to bed changed into pj's and fell asleep.

Sorry this is kinda boring and short. The next few chapters are really exciting.
