"Hello, love." Klaus said as his lips turned into a smirk.

"What do you want, Klaus?" Caroline spat, trying to escape Klaus's grasp but he pinned her wrists against the wall.

"Easy, love. Do you want me to compel you into being more co-operative?" Klaus said in a firm yet playful way.

"...No." She sighed.

"You're going to New Orleans with me. Tonight." Klaus smiled, flipping Caroline over his shoulder, so that her face was upside down and facing his back, then walked towards his car.

"Let go of me!" Caroline cried, pounding at his back.

"I will, when we get to my car." Klaus smirked.

"Klaus, I will rip your throat out and feed it to the dogs on the streets if you do not put me down this instance!" Caroline ordered.

Klaus stopped for a moment.

"Why are you stopping?" Caroline asked.

"Stop lying to yourself, love. You know that you'd never hurt me." He continued walking to his car.

"That is it! I'm calling Stefan." Caroline yelled. She grabbed her phone from her back jean pocket and dialed his number but Klaus snatched it out of her hand with super vampire speed.

"Caroline?" The phone said.

"Hello, old mate." Klaus answered the phone.

"Where's Caroline?!" Stefan yelled through the phone.

Klaus glanced back at Caroline's face then back to the phone. "She's fine."

Stefan exhaled loudly. "Klaus, I swear to god, if you hurt her I will-"

"What will you do? Huh? Sleep with Rebekah? Oh and by the way, Caroline and I are going to New Orleans. Just thought you should now. Bye!" Klaus smirked then hung up the phone.

"You would never had guessed that I was the one without their humanity." Caroline sighed, sarcastically.

"At least this version of you still has their sarcasm." Klaus chuckled as he walked up to his car and sat her down.

"What's the bet that I run out of this car the second you close that door." Caroline smirked.

"Nothing. Because I'm going to compel you." Klaus said as lifted her chin, gently, with his fingers, sending shivers down her spine. He looked her in the eye. "You will not try to leave the car until I say you can and you will not call anyone to take you."

Caroline huffed. "I hate you." Caroline muttered under her breath. "Why don't you just compel me to turn my humanity on?"

"Because that would suck all the fun out of this." Klaus smirked, placing a kiss on her forehead then sat in the drivers seat. "Get comfortable, love. This is going to be a long ride."

approx. 15 Hours Later

Caroline had fallen asleep after complaining for about 3 hours straight. They'd 8finally arrived in New Orleans but Klaus couldn't bring himself to wake her up. She had her head leaning against the car window and she curled herself up into a ball. She looked so innocent in her sleep, for a vampire who had turned off their humanity, and young. He stared for a little longer.

"Staring is rude, Did anyone ever teach you that?" Caroline said, sleepily, without opening her eyes.

"Ironic. The emotionless vampire teaching Klaus Mikaelson about manners." Klaus smirked.
