Caroline stood in the shower for a long time, reflecting on what she'd done. She had killed people. Multiple of them. Without hesitation. Caroline took this time to let all of her tears out, she didn't want to cry in front of the Mikaelson family.
Caroline's sobs filled the Mikaelson residence, making everyone slightly uncomfortable.
Rebekah was sitting down cross-legged on her bed when she heard Caroline's cries so she turned up her music to drown Caroline out.
Kol was in the kitchen, draining a poor girl from the neck when he heard the defining sound of her weeping. His face scrunched up in hesitation as he finished his meal.
Elijah was in the study, reading a book when he heard Caroline, practically begging for her pain to stop.
Klaus, on the other hand, was sitting in front of Caroline's bedroom door, wallowing. He could hear her. She was bawling in there. Klaus had to restrain himself from barging in and embracing her. One thing that Caroline needed right now, was space.

Caroline sat on her bed, contemplating whether to go downstairs to grab something to eat or sit there, helpless. She sighed and stood up, hesitantly, and opened her door. She struggled to open in, as Klaus was sitting right there.
"Sorry, love..." Klaus apologized as he stood up from his sitting position.
She didn't reply, she just stared at him. Her insides were screaming at him, begging him to hug or her do something, but her mouth didn't move nor her facial expression change. Her face was blank. She continued to walk past him, and down the stairs.
Caroline stepped into the kitchen, where she stumbled across Kol, sucking the blood out of some random girl.
"Oh.. S-Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude..." Caroline said softly.
"No, you're good." Kol assured. "Would... you like some?" Kol asked, awkwardly as he lifted the girls neck towards Caroline. He was not good when it came to sad girls. Drunk girls was his forté, but sad girls? He sucked at dealing with sad girls.
"N-No thanks." Caroline had to stop herself from looking at the girl's limp body. Too many memories of dead bodies came flooding back. "Do you have any blood bags?"
"Yep." Kol opened the fridge and moved some ice-cream around, to reveal his secret stash of blood bags. He handed her the bag. "Are you alright?"
Caroline took a short sip of the blood bag, then looked down at her feet. "Yeah, I'm fine."Kol placed his hand on her hand, not in a romantic way, more in a I-Wanna-Be-Your-Friend-And-Make-Sure-That-You're-Alright sort of way. Caroline didn't pull her hand away. A tear trickled down her cheek.
"Thank you."
Kol didn't know what to do know, so he just did what he felt was right and leaned in to hug her. He wrapped his arms under hers and squeezed tightly. She squeezed back.
(A/N: This is not supposed to be a romantic scene between Caroline and Kol, he's just trying to comfort her)

"Her humanity is back on! Can't we just kick her to the curb now?!" Rebekah pleaded.
"Rebekah, think of something other than yourself for once!" Elijah demanded. "She is going through something , we don't wanna say the wrong thing to her right now."
"Like how Klaus and Camille used to be quite the item?" Rebekah smirked.
