Chapter three

CHAPTER THREE

John laughs "boyfriend then?"
"No I prefer not to be in relationships....they are to predictable and dull...." He says with a scowl forming on his face.
"We'll from what I have seen your an ignorant prick"
"And from what I have observed your an arrogant jerk who can't bother to remember anyone's name except for a girls and she isn't even half in love with you. He's found another guy and is trying to find a way to tell you without hurting you! She changes her binder notes every time shes with one of you,and she is very careful about it!"

Sherlock walks off to his next class flustered as john stands frozen then goes off to find Tanya.
After school sherlock walks out to the front steps to see john with his head in his hands.
Sherlock pulls a cigarette out of his pack and offers it to john.
"Want one?" He says as he holds it a bit closer to johns ear.
John growls "go away."
"I'm just trying to cheer you up considering no one else is"
John says with his face still in his hands " my friends tried and failed I don't want your death wrapped in paper."
"Fine" sherlock puts the cigarette back in the box "come on...I think I may have something to help you feel better" he says as kindly as possible as he offers his hand to help john up.
John looks up at him with huge glasses on that take up half of his face they are thin rimmed and huge.
"Oh your kinda cute" sherlock says to himself in his head.
John stands without taking sherlocks hand. "And what is that?" He says with little to no hope.
"Just follow me. You'll see."says sherlock as he turns on his heels and starts walking.
John rolls his eyes and follows "where are we going suspenders?"
"Just hush we are going somewhere"
John groans and follows behind "my mum said to never follow strange people. How can I trust you won't murder me?" He says with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Because I'm not one to murder somebody unless its for a good reason, and I have no reason to murder you."
"Gee thanks" he says with sarcasm as they continue walking
"Oh!" Sherlock turns around. "Here my mum thought I might actually make friends if I gave out candy.but I won't....I hate these things" he holds the bag out for john to take and much to his surprise john takes it.
"She does know your a junior right?"
"Yeah....but I don't think she grasps the idea that candy isn't a friend maker in high school"
John shrugs and puts the candy in his backpack "now will you tell me where we are going?" He says with little patience .
"Not until we get there" a smirk grows on sherlocks face. "We are almost there don't worry." He puts on his trench coat as he walks and tries to put his scarf on but fails.
"Your getting scarier........here.....let me show you how to do that..." John folds the scarf in half then slings it around sherlocks neck and puts the loose end through the loop on the other end. "Take note brain chip"
"Thanks....although I don't see how I'm getting scary. Have you looked at me?" He replies quietly.
John shakes his head.
"Your adorable john oh my gosh your glasses" sherlock says to himself in his head.
"Your frightening because of your voice and height"
"I'm not a dragon" a smile forms on sherlocks face a small one. It's the first time he has smiled since they've met and its kinda cute. "I won't breath fire on you"
John rolls his eyes "so there is a softer side to you aye?"
"Hmm?" He's confused."oh! The smile? Barley..."
"Whatever you say"
They keep walking for about a half an hour when they finally reach their destination. A small coffee shop by sherlocks flat. He mutters to himself " hmm? I thought it was closer....oh well" he turns and looks at john. "Well we are here....and I'm going to murder you" he says jokingly of course.
"Thanks" he says with a sarcastic tone. He's obviously really upset about Tanya when they walk in john opens his backpack and takes out his homework.
"Eheh nope! No homework!" Sherlock takes all of it and puts it back in johns backpack."that's only going to make it worse.....what do you want? I'm buying"
"But I ..." He sighs."just coffee thanks"
