PRINCESS

"Ow!" I cry, cradling my arm. That's a big gash. And it's bleeding. A lot. Shoot. At least I was out of that suffocating room. All of my 'potential suitors' only had one thing on their mind. And it was my wealth. Being an only child is hard. It's even harder since i'm the only princess of the biggest and most influential country in the world.

"Princess (Y/N)!" Shouted my guard, Gallade, running over. "I heard your cry, are you ok?"

"Yeah, i'm fine" I respond looking over at him.

"We need to get you back to the ball" He said sternly. "And what in heavens did you do to your dress?"

"Can I please leave for just five minutes?" I plead, looking up at him with big eyes.

"Alright then" He said, giving a small groan. "I'll make up an excuse for you"

"No!" I cry, latching onto his arm. "I want you to come with me!"

"Oh, really" He says, a sly smirk crawling up his features. "If it was anyone but you Princess, I might have thought you had other intentions"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask giving his arm a light smack. "I don't know wether to be complimented or insulted right now"

"Well Princess, the way you've been acting with me has been very different from the others" He said, bringing his face closer to mine. "And it's not because of me being your personal guard. I've seen you with your previous guards, and none of them have gotten the same treatment I have"

"Do I really need to say it out loud?" I ask giving his nose a lil' boop.

"Yes. You do" He responded, bringing face even closer to mine.
"I love you" I said, pulling him in for a kiss. It was as sweet as honey, but still had the metallic taste of Gallade.

"I love you too, Princess"
