Maya POV
I wanted to move on. I can't be with him. He broke me even more than I already am. He wanted to tell me something but me being stubborn got in the way of that. I dont want to be mad anymore. What am I even mad for? We weren't together....he just lied. How can I hold a grudge for that long? I keep holding this grudge, and he didn't even have control on what happened to that poor baby. I should forgive him. I should be with him...
3rd person POV
As Maya gets over her thoughts she turns around and notices lucas is gone. She puts on a robe and checks on Presley who is fast asleep. Maya admires her baby boy for a second and walks downstairs to continue looking for Lucas. She walks into the kitchen and notices a note on the fridge.
Good morning maya. I went to get a couple things from the store and to topangas to get you and Presley some breakfast.
-LucasThe note made her smile. Thoughts swamped her brain. Her mind went back to the day she found him on the roof, to the day they broke up, to the day she found him drowning himself in whiskey. She was slowly breaking him. That was something she never wanted to do. She needed him as 'Lucas the good', 'The Moral Compass' and 'The Fortune cookie'. She needed the person she loved. They needed to talk.
Lucas POV
I was waiting in the humongous line in topangas and I gotta give it to topanga this place did good over the years. There was a woman behind me who let out a loud groan and I looked behind me because it was kinda funny. When I turned around I saw a beautiful woman. She had beautiful chocolate brown eyes and beautiful silky brown hair. She was stunning. I chuckled a bit and turned back around.
"Excuse me?" The lady said a little snappy.
I turned around with a smirk on my face.
"Yes?" i replied.
"haven't you ever seen have a women being impatient?"
"oh you have no idea. My son's mom probably the most impatient woman during a pregnancy."
"Ya know mentioning you have a kid, doesn't exactly help you get at a girl."
"who said i was trying to get at you?"
She smirked and held out her hand.
"Paris."
I take her hand and shake it.
"Lucas."
"So you have a kid?"
"I do."
"And a girlfriend?"
"It's complicated...."
"Let me guess. One night stand? Drunk mistake?"
"Anything I ever had with her will never be a mistake in my book, so no. I was fully aware, and i have loved her for the past 10 years."
"She broke your heart?"
"Why am i talking to you about this?"
She shrugs,
"you have a lot of things on your mind that you wanna let out. You're love of ten years was the person you told everything to...im guessing. and now you feel like you lost her..."
I turn back around ignoring the fact she saw right through me. There was still such a long line. I started slowly walking out of line.
"Hey Lucas! Where are you going?"
"It would be easier to just make this at home. I don't have time to wait I have a kid to care for."
"Yeah ok, but i actually like you because you're the first guy who hasn't tried to hit on me this morning and all i have is your name."
I walk over to her and give her my number.
"You can come with if you want. I'm pretty sure my kid or is mom will mind." i chuckle and motion for her to come.
"fine but just because i want coffee."
Maya POV
After that note i sat thinking. Thinking about how it could go. Would he forgive me? Does he still want me? What if he can't forgive me? Shortly after my thoughts broke from the sound of Presley making his way downstairs
"Hey baby boy! Are you hungry?" I say while picking him up and him immediately wrapped himself around me. He nods in response and I run my hands through his hair.
"Well daddy will be back with-
I was interrupted by the door swinging open revealing Lucas and a beautiful brunette laughing.
"oh hey Maya! Hey Presley! This is Paris."
