Okay, the example is very subjective but, nonetheless, true. After me and Inna unni travelling experience to Europe several months ago I feel like our BFF bond is getting stronger. We have successfully check all the list of how-to-not-break-your-friendship-while-travelling-together. We travel, we explore, we talk, we sing, we drank, we ate, we dance, we found each other, I found myself, unni find herself, and finally prove that travel, indeed, is a way to find all the lost souls that wander through life and all its business and bullshit-ness.
Especially in the middle of 50 days trapped in EDM Factory. Yes, Infinity Challenge Music Festival. Not that I'm complaining, I got the partner that I have chosen from beginning. Park Myung Soo-ssaem has the voice, the groove, the experience in stage, and, most of all addiction to EDM. I should've seen it coming but yeah I used to think it would be better to challenge this disposition as the program name is Infinity Challenge. That turns out to be incorrect on some few level but, ...
... at least it ends well. It tops the chart(s) exclamation point (!) Thanks to my always awesome song writing partner, the best I could ever ask for a EDM DJ Jae Hwan, Inna unni for all the talks and sweet European escape and ...

Okay, I know it would be awkward now if I blurted out that "GD-sunbaenim" in here, YG, when I met him after we appeared together on national variety show for several episodes and do collaboration and did I mention I called him tons of time for advice?
How and why I ended up here in YG, you asked?
Yoo In Na UNNI is not the world's most childish person, and she is definitely not an incapable person to drive around alone when she doesn't have jam packed schedule, basically she is not the type to ask people especially best friend who is socially awkward introverted turtle like me to pick her up after her STAGE project meeting knowing that:
I am the weirdest (I know him by voice basis, everyone see through me when I blurted out that one of the duo who sang Yukgaksu's song at Infinity Challenge Mask Singer is Taeyang) and biggest Taeyang fan girl ever who suddenly freeze every time I see him and also suddenly avoided him in public after he and Min Hyo Rin sunbaenim date openly. (They are awesome couple and NO I AM NOT IN A SLIGHTEST WAY JEALOUS AT ALL!!!!!!)GD err Ji Yong sunbaenim err Ji Yong oppa (?) called me from Haneda airport out of nowhere yesterday asking whether I could meet him because he "wants to relay his gratitude to Ji Eun-i for working hard to pull of Park Bom's part perfectly in I Cheated", so I was like, "What do you mean, sunbae? I called and PM-ed you countless time and often in a slightly non-appropriate hours just to ask about how to face Park Myung Soo-ssaem's disagreement and how to deliver several seconds of rap part in Leon. You are also one of few people who stood up for me when Park Myung Soo-ssaem insisted on inserting EDM part in Leon. It is only fair if I at least try my hardest to sing that part where Park Bom-ssi's voice shines the brightest. No, I am still in debt with you, sunbae and I am the one who needs to relay my gratitude first. Apology for my thoughtlessness." And then he laughed and said "Aigoo Ji Eun-i, I thought you are awkward. I guess there is no more ice between us after countless conversation about exact same topic, right? Call me oppa then, no more sunbae hahahaha. Well, if you want my apology, come to YG whenever you're free and then let's see what you can do to get my apology...." And for a split of a second Yoo In Na UNNI took my phone and literally screams to it "GEURAE JIYONG-AAAAH, JIEUN WILL COME VISIT YG TOMORROW TO PICK ME UP. SO, GET YOURSELF READY TO PUNISH THIS KIDDO. AND PLEASE GET YOUNGBAE ABOARD, SHE'LL LIKE IT" (Basically, this UNNI creates one hell of AWKWARD mess for me not to come to YG)
Which I guess means that I have to get my socially awkward introverted ass off my home to pick this UNNI (which I highly regard as my other half of Laotong), although I don't feel like it, to face the awkward mess that this Laotong UNNI create. And did I mention she asked me to pick her up with her car? Well her car was in the service centre and I have to pick that car of hers before coming here.
Andbutso, here I am in YG alone sitting on this big black sofa. While I am close to the Akdong siblings, they are rarely here anymore. They mainly works in Highground building now, with Hyukoh. Oh how I wish this were Highground, I can talk with the Akdongs and I can not talk with all of Hyukoh (Come on, we are all enjoying their quiet personas) and both actions will make me comfortable, nonetheless. In Na unni is not yet finished with the STAGE project meeting and I most definitely reluctant to inform Ji Yong sunbae that I am already here, he is just arrived in town yesterday and God knows how busy he is.
So I don't know why after a while browsing using my smartphone I clicked on my kakao talk conversation tab with Ji Yong sunbae and typed...
Me:
Ji Yong sunbae, just to inform you, I am already in YG's lobby. You don't have to meet me now, take your time, In Na unni hasn't finished her meeting anyway.
Send. And immediately it checked, Read.
Kwon Ji Yong:
Okay Ji Eun, in a minute.
Okay, let me process that for a moment. Did I just ask or not ask him to come right away? Well, at least there won't be any In Na unni to add fuel to the fire if he comes now.
"Annyeong," he greets, startling me. "Annyeonghaseyo, sunbae," I jumped to bow at him. Silence. He smiles at me who is staring at him like a confused kid. "Don't look at me like that, Ji Eun-ah," he says. "I am sorry, sunbae, I didn't mean to..." I said apologetically while starting to punish myself. "Don't hit yourself in the head, Ji Eun-ah," he says while extending his hand to stop me from hitting myself.
Oh snap.
"Why don't you wait for In Na noona in our studio?" he asks, "that way you would not be alone." I prefer alone, sunbaenim. "Come on," he continues. He still hold my right hand and proceeds to walk me to one of the YG's studio.
I am expecting Teddy-producer and all of BIGBANG members there, but none. The room is empty. There is only me and him here, and a big white box with a black bow on the table. He points out the sofa and I followed his word and sit there. He walks towards the recording table and grabs the rolling chair, and sits in it.
"Ji Eun-ah, how are you?" he asks while turning his chair so he could face me. "I am fine, sunbae. How are you?" I answer and ask him back. "I am fine, too. How many times should I tell you no more sunbae? Is it that hard to regard me as an oppa? I am 5 years older than you though" he asks while giggling. "Yes eh I mean no eh I mean.. okay Ji Yong oppa..." I stopped a moment and continue "-nim. Ji Yong oppa-nim." He giggles harder, "Okay, for now I'll settle with that ridiculous sounding Ji Yong oppa-nim."
Then we talk. About the Infinity Challenge concert broadcast, about the music we produced, about the chart. He said everyone looked awesome on it despite just saw the snippets of it cause of A Nation Festival in Japan and cheekily says that me topping the chart is given since he also puts his hand on it. I laughed at his remark but I also have no rebuttal at that.
Several minutes of small talks and small laughters later, he suddenly stands up, grab the big white box with the black bow, and give it to me "This is for you. It is both my gratitude and my punishment for Ji Eun kiddo. It's a bit heavy, so be careful with it." I stand up to receive it. It's indeed a bit heavy. "Open it at home, Ji Eun-ah," he says. "Why?" I asked him bluntly. "Aigoo, I guess Ji Eun-i kiddo can't wait to open it. But, can you just please do me a favour to open it at your home?" I nod, given up my curiosity, anyway do I look like I have any other option?
Then the door opened. As fast as lightning, Inna unni enters the room, grab her car keys while saying annoyingly, "Ji Eun-ah, I'm really sorry but I need to go to Gangnam right now. There is a Secret Garden reunion that I stupidly forget. Can you go home with Jiyong? Jiyong could you do this stupid noona a favour and drop this kiddo at her home? Please take care of her, Jiyong-ah. Love you to the moon and back Ji Eun-ah!" and run hurriedly leaving the scene with me and Ji Yong sunbae flabbergasted at this outcome.
