The next day Severus felt a little better. His talk with his Transfiguration teacher had enlightened him a bit but... What does being Jealous mean? "You're jealous Severus dear. It happens to most young ones like you." was all she ended their conversation with and sent Severus to breakfast. It was a good thing he had no classes today, because now he can figure out his jealousy. "What does Jealousy even mean? Hmm I wonder if I can find it in the library." wondered Severus aloud "You won't find the answer you're looking for in a book Mr. Snape." said Severus' charms teacher giving Severus a fright. "Although you love books, they won't help this time." he told Severus as he sat down next to his student. "Well then how will I figure out what it is?" asked Severus a little agitatedly. "Why don't you just ask?" was simply all Professor Hazlebea said. Severus looked at his elderly charms professor, whom was always so strict and yet... Happy, now he was sitting calmly next to him trying to give advise. "Alright then. What is Jealousy professor?" Severus asked sounding a little annoyed, why couldn't his professor of just told him? "Jealousy is when someone has something you want, you can't have it then and it makes you not like them or even envy them. Who is your jealousy pointed towards?" explained Hazelbea "Well... I'm mad at Lucius. But I don't know why I would be jealous of him, the prancing git." The charms professor thought for a moment then asked "When did your anger start?" This question caught Severus by surprise and it took him a moment to answer. "Uhm... I think it was when he and Violet started dating, sir." Professor Hazelbea chuckled at this "My dear boy, you're jealous of his relationship with Violet. You feel that 'the prancing git' doesn't deserve to be with your friend Violet and, even if you don't realize it, you wish you were in his place." Severus just sat there blinking at his teacher not saying a word, mind racing. Professor Hazelbea got up after a few minutes and left saying "Enjoy your day Mr. Snape." leaving Severus in his shocked state "How can I?"
