Author's Note: Heya readers! This is my first full lenth story and I appreciate any criticism you have. I'm very out of practice but this is a story that I'm really excited about and I hope you guys enjoy it. I hope you all read the synopsis to understand what;s happening with this story. If you didn't, in short, what I said was that this story is going to be a prequel to 3 stories mentioned in the synopsis. You don't have to read all 3 stories because they're only loosley related in terms of plot, but to read any of the 3, you need to read this prequel. Without further delay, I give you the first chapter WITTMO. Also, no one's making you, but votes and comments are cool, js.

“I don’t think this is working out anymore Jack.”

There are moments in life when you are forced to make difficult choices. There were 3 things I could do right now. One, I could tell my boyfriend of 2 years that I understand that he wants to break up with me and maybe in time we could be friends again. Two, I could ask him why, tell him that maybe we could work things out. Three, I could punch him in the face.

There are moments in life where we are forced to make difficult choices. This was not one of those time.

I studied the ground for a minute, making sure I caught Tyce off guard. He said my name a few times and then I just snapped. I punched him square in the jaw. I was much smaller than Tyce Hawkins, but from the cracking sound his face made when my hand connected with his face, I could tell that I’d done some damage.

“What the hell was that for Jack?” he said, once he’s recovered to the fatal blow to his visage. He was now rubbing his jaw, coaxing the pain. He was going to need to put some ice on that.

I was ready to rip him a new one.

“You’re just an idiot, aren’t you? I know why you want to break up, jackass. What do you take me for?”

His eyes widened, then narrowed, as if he was still trying to hide his dirty little secret.

“What are you talking about, Jack?” he said, innocently.

“You damn well know what I’m talking about, Tyce Christopher Hawkins. God, how much of an idiot are you. I see you every day after school behind the parking lot with that whore, Kelley Reed. What? You miss boobs so much you had to resort to that whiny bimbo? My God, how do you live with yourself?” I said, my voice getting increasing louder with every sentence.

He was silent. His gaze fell to the floor. He wasn’t denying it. That was my cue to continue.

“And another thing, next time don’t tell me you give a crap about me when you don’t. You ruined 2 years of life Tyce. 2 years I’ll never get back. So go. Break up with me. Tell all your friends you dumped me for that god-awful human being. Just know that I never want to see your face again, understand?”

At this point I was grabbing him by the shirt. He looked up, looked into my eyes with a sorrowful look. That damn bastard. He was pitying me. I gave him a shove and I turned to face the other direction.

“Well? Get lost.” I said. I could feel his eyes on my back.

He lingered a few more seconds. Then he spoke.

“Jack, I’m so so-“

“Shut up and leave. I don’t want to see your face.” I spat.

“But Ja-“

“I said fuck off, jerk!” he seemed to get the message. He slowly turned back and left.

And I was alone. I waited until I could no longer hear the sound of his footsteps in the clearing of the woods where we were standing. Suddenly it was quiet. I couldn’t hear the sound of nature. The chirping of the birds, the sound of running water, the rustling of the trees in the wind. All gone. And that’s when I broke.
