Prologue

3rd Person POV (10 years old)

You are sleeping in your bed until you hear your mother

(M/N): (Y/N) sweetheart. Time to get up

You: *groans* I don't want to get up

(M/N): (Y/N). Now

You: aww. Fiiine

You then get up out of bed and walk into your dining area and you see your mother doing dishes

(M/N): your breakfast is on the table darling

You thank her and sit on the table and start eating and once you finished your mother then took your bowl and cleans it up

You: when's dad coming home?

(M/N): I don't know sweetheart

You: I want him home now

(M/N): I know I do too. Well I heard from Mrs Yeager that her kids are heading out to collect wood. Do you want to go with them and when they return. You can have lunch at theirs and play with them for a while?

You: sure. Just let me get some clothes on. I don't want to go out there in clothes I've slept in

As you done that you went into your room and got changed into more descent clothes and put your shoes on and said goodbye to your mother and went outside to find your friends

You went to the Yeager household and knock onto the door and Mrs Yeager aka Carla opened it up

Carla: oh (Y/N). Well hello there what can I do for you?

You: Hello Mrs Yeager. I was wondering where are my friends well your kids. Umm. You know what I mean

Carla: *giggles* yes I do know what you mean. And i think they are on a small hill just outside the city in wall Maria also. I'm sure your mother told you that you can stay for lunch?

You: yes she did. And I'll be coming

Carla: that is very good to hear. Now run along

You: ok THANK YOU!

You tell while running off to the gate where you see guards playing poker and drinking

You thinking: 'surely they should be guarding the gate?'

You shook your head at this and just carry on until you spot mikasa collecting sticks for what assumes to be for fuel for fire and you ran up to her

You: MIKASA!

She turns to you and smiles a little

Mikasa: Hello (Y/N), how are you?

You: I'm doing good. Where's-

You get cut off by her

???: over here

You turn to see the voice
