(A/N: What's this? An update? About time. Reasons for this rather late update are at the end of the chapter)

(Y/N) POV

I was now following the girl named Ruby Rose apparently sent out on a mission to find me. I can't get them to tell me what reason they have to get me or even how they knew I was in this world. I was just told a man named Ozpin told them to get me. I had a feeling I could have a pretty interesting conversation with this man. To know that I'm in a world when I've done almost nothing noticeable is quite extraordinary.

Walking further into the forest with the team of Ruby seemed off. As if they were trying to get me alone to attack. I was almost certain that they were doing it so I tightened my grip on my hammer and made sure that I was never caught off guard like an idiot. The silence was almost deafening. The only sound was the crunching of the leaves beneath our feet. The crunches seemed to slow from behind fading away into the wind.

I knew it was too good to be true. Have people to see after a few days in the forest and say that they want me to meet someone. I was hoping it would be a peaceful way to deal with things but apparently it life doesn't want it to be that way. As I love a challenge I'm tired for this. This challenge may be one that I have to try and avoid. Now my only problem is not hurting them too badly.

"Excuse me, Miss Rose. Would you mind telling your team to not attack me?" As I said this I only got a look of confusion from her. She obviously couldn't tell that they were going to attack me. I mean I guess it is a bit unnatural for someone to just come along with them. They will attack but how well do they think it will go? Sure I may not seem like much but hell I have beaten many people far superior to me. People who kill without a second thought. People who are faster and cunning. I've never lost.

With that it seemed that one had already started to charge me with rather incredible speed. I thought for a normal person machine will always beat them in a race but it seems the people here can but the both machine and Omnic to shame. I was rather frustrated at this fact considering I could never improve with how slow and weak everyone was back with the Crusaders. I may not have lost, but I never truly got to test myself. I just hope that these people prove as much as a challenge as the old man and Reinhardt. The only two to make a challenge out of our fight.

As I turned from the rustling of the leaves from the floor I saw the blonde brawler aiming straight for me. 'Not the smartest person in the world.' Upon finishing that thought I realized that there was only the blonde. The others were nowhere in view. Of course this meant that they were either taking turns attacking or preparing for an opportunity. Either way they won't win this fight especially without their last member.

As the blonde was a few feet in front of my I brought up my hammer from the ground to try and knock her into the air. What I didn't expect was her her to dodge the attack and aim for my waist. When her fist connected with my armor I not only faintly felt the punch itself but an additional hit. A hit with enough power to rival that of a shotgun. Luckily I had made a few adjustments to my armor compared to everyone else meaning that mine was far stronger.

She quickly realized that her attack had almost no effect on my and tried to back away. Unfortunately whilst she was trying to gain distance I was able to connect a strike to the side of her a send her flying into a tree nearby. She went through the tree, which nearly landed on me, and stopped unconscious at the next tree behind. I sighed in disappointment from the little thrill she gave me. It was a lot less than Reinhardt or the old man but they were true warriors needing to kill the most unpredictable target.

After a moments of the blonde crashing into the tree I saw the color of a pure white suddenly come from the woods. I was quite surprised at how she moved. Her legs were idle yet her body was moving at such unimaginable speed I was astounded by her. She seemed so disciplined and well coordinated yet she charges me head on. I heard her earlier arguing with her leader about something so she must be some sort of valedictorian.
