Smelling her sweet scent- although there is nothing here- only sadness is what I bear.
Don't leave me- here is dark- yet you left, never again looking back, never again shielding me from their attack.
Hold me in your arms once again, whisper in my ear, please wipe away my tear.
The memories I have of you are all somber, a bitter sweetness I can conjure, loving is what I thought of you, now thinking it was all a veiled ruse.
Your eyes shine brightly- your pupils such a stark contrast- which I could make these memories last. But you're gone. Never again loving- your eyes lacking luster- no more strength, I'm able to muster.
I'd never breath a single breath more- if I can't have your galore. Like a nurturing bird you fly- I left behind while you never again say bye; hope you travel high, amongst the clouds, your only wish- hope you have internal bliss.
One day hoping to join you in the clouds, never again coming down.
