Draco's Pov~

I looked at the ground and listened to her ragged breathing she sounded like she was drowning I held myself back from hugging her

"So this is the first stage" her voice quivered and was holding back tears

"In the claiming process this is the first out of five stages" I said still with my eyes glued to the carpet

"The other four?"

"The second one is we start to feel each others physical pain the third is we have a telepathic connection the forth is we always have the same dreams fifth is the actual marking" 

She let her tears pour out and I looked up in the corner of the couch she was in fetal position crying and shaking her head

"I'm so sorry" I said moving closer to her

She didn't look up

"I'm even more sorry for this and I hope you forgive me" I said raising my wand to her crying body "Petrificus Totalus"

She stiffened and began to yell 

"Let me go HELP" She screamed

I lifted her and opened my bedroom door setting her gently on my bed I began to pull her out of fetal position into a more sleep appropriate position

"Help" She screamed in vain since my room had a silencing spell

"Shhh" I whispered as I summoned a sleeping drought slightly forcing it into her mouth. She kept on crying until she fell asleep it broke my heart

I changed into pajamas and went to bed on the floor with only a pillow

Hermione's Pov~

I awoke to a blood curdling scream as an immediate reaction I jumped to the floor ad began to remember last night I was going to KILL him then my eyes cast to the floor and I saw Draco's arm bleeding and I panicked saying every healing spell I knew

Eventually the bleeding stopped and only a white scar went across his arm

"We have to see Madam Pomfry" I said as soon as his cursing stopped

"We have to see McGonnagal" He said sitting up 

"No"

"Yes our Veela unit was only three days and I don't know about you but I feel clueless" 

"FINE" I spat "But the minute were done I'm going to kill you for last night"

He stood up and grabbed my side and a stomach pulling feeling arrived and I kept my feet up till I heard that familiar pop
