"Have your seen Arthur?" asked Merlin to Gwen as he walked down the corridor.

"No. Not for several hours. I'm sure that he will turn up eventually. He always does."

"Yeah but if Uther finds out that Arthur is missing again and if he is at the tavern then Uther will have both of our heads."

"I don't want to be you then," said Gwen laughing. "I'll ask around, you go wait in his chambers in case he comes back."

"Ok, thanks Gwen. I owe you one." Merlin turned and headed back the way he came from and Gwen went to drop off some sheets in Morgana's room before asking around for Arthur.

A couple hours later Uther came into Arthur's chambers and found Merlin scrubbing the floors. "Your majesty," said Merlin scrabbling to his feet. "Is there anything I can do for you."

"Where is Arthur? I need to speak with him."

"I do not know, my lord. I haven't seen him for several hours. I think he said something about training."

"He wasn't at the training grounds. Stay here until he comes back."

"Yes sire." Merlin bowed and Gwen entered the room.

"Oh, my lord," said Gwen curtsying.

"Gwen, have you seen Arthur?"

"No, my lord. I just came to drop off these sheets for Merlin to change. Is there anything I can do for you sire?"

"Search the castle for Arthur and tell him to come see me. If you don't find him tell me."

"But, my lord. I need to get back to Morgana."

"She will be alright for a few hours. If she complains tell her to take it up with me."

"Yes sire." Gwen curtsied and Uther left the room.

"Have you found him?" asked Merlin and Gwen shook her head.

"No, I'll talk to you later if I get the chance. Goodbye."

"Bye." Gwen left the room and Merlin went back to scrubbing the floors.

Several hours after the sun set Arthur returned to the castle. "Where have you been?" asked Merlin as Arthur stumbled in drunkenly. "You know that your father doesn't approve of your drinking."

"Screw him," said Arthur sluggishly.

"You don't mean that, now come on I'll help you get ready for bed. And get you a drink to try and clear your head." Arthur muttered something but Merlin just rolled his eyes. "In the morning you need to go find your father. He has something to discuss with you."  Suddenly Arthur grabbed him. "Arthur let go, you're hurting me. What are you doing?" Merlin struggled in Arthur's strong grip but didn't dare use magic against him.

"Something I should have done a long time ago." Arthur ripped Merlin's shirt off of him and threw him on the bed. Merlin scrambled off the bed and tried to get under it and out the other side and run for the door but Arthur grabbed his ankle and dragged him back out from under the bed.

"Arthur stop," screamed Merlin but Arthur threw him against the headboard and Merlin laid dazed in a heap. Arthur rolled Merlin over and tied his hands behind his back and stuffed his shirt in Merlin's mouth.

"You'll enjoy it. I've seen how you look at me. Just wanting me to take you on the spot. So we are finally getting what we both want." Merlin had tears running down his face and tried to say something. "I don't want to hear it. We will enjoy this night. I will enjoy this night." Merlin shook his head and tried to scramble away again. Arthur rolled him over and entered him. Merlin let out a scream that nobody could hear.

So the deed is done. Will Merlin ever be able to forgive Arthur and will he be able to get away? Will he use his magic against the Prince?
