Many years ago man and fae lived in peace and harmony. However once man gained the will to hunt, war broke out between man and all things of magic. In order to protect all things magic, the four kingdoms of Faye decided to forbid fae to cross the threshold save for every four years. However because of man something evil was created, hence the creation of the shadoweaver.
