Chapter 6
As I blink my eyes open, a bright light shone through the hospital window, "how did I get here" you whispered your rhetoric question. Secretly hoping to be alone.
"I found you" a voice spoke angrily, making you jump at the sudden appearance. Slowly turning your head to where the female voice had spoken, you blinked a few times for your eyes to adjust.
"tsunadi?" (sp?) you asked as you tried to sit up to talk. Well knowing that your in trouble by the hokage again. Bracing yourself for her to begin, you watched silently as she parted her lips to speak.
"why the hell did you run away and hide in the Forrest, you know damn well better than that. And from naruto! Damn it he seached all night in the rain for you!" As she yelled, punching the arm rest as she continued, sighing before she continued. pinching her nose to comfort her headache.
"We also have had spys inform us of your sister Niki." my ears spiked up, Shes alive? Where? When? My thoughts evated my reality and took over. Before the hokage could continue about my sister, my words escaped me "where? How long ago was it? Was she hurt? W-"
"Nika! Let me finish!" tsunadi (sp?) exploded, instantly closing my mouth, I waited anxiously for her to continue.
As she sighed she started Again "she was spotted heading to the village hidden In the snow with the suspected leader of the akatsuki..We are sending a few anbu spys to watch them as they continue to the snow." silence stuck in the room, looking down I smiled truely for the first time since she was kidnapped.
"let me Go" I demanded, I needed to go see my sister, my last living member of my family. "Please"I looked straight at the hokage, hoping she would let me go. "ill have to ask the elders first before I say anything." was my reply, looking down I waited for her to leave "meet me in my office in 2 hours"she whipered as she got up, smiling down at my hands as I heard the Door shut.
Silence hadn't lasted, yelling and smashing was heard outside my hospital door, curious of the noise I slowly climbed out of bed, careful of my footing so I wouldn't fall over. As I reached the door it suddenly flung open, pushing my down with a thump.
"Nika, why are you on the ground?" I confused naruto asked, huffing and panting from running through the hospital. Not wanting to embariss myself again I kept my head down low, looking away.
"do you need some help to get back to your bed?" Naruto asked, nervously. Wanting some form of communication from me. Nodding slightly, the blond held out his hand for me to take. Slowly I lifted my own, still looking down to not face him.
"im sorry about last night" I whispered, closing my eyes, not wanting to see his rejection. A blush crept my cheeks. Warm arms wrapped my small frame, surprised I looked up at naruto, a shy smile framed his features.
"its ok Nika, I um enjoyed it" shocked, my face burned with blush. Blushing my face with his fingures, I leaned into his touch.
Whispering "I need some help getting to tsunadi's office" hoping he would take the hint, I looked at his signature grin and nodded, gently grabbing my hand. As we reached the hokage's office, yelling was heard from elders and tsunadi. Nocking I waited for a signal to walk in, smiling behind to naruto I whispered "ill see you later" before I walked in to the war zone.
Hours went by before the elders left lady Hokage's office, standing quietly I looked at the paperwork covered desk, chuckling at the first memory of being in this office.
