I panted hard. My vines tightened against the struggling lycan. How he squirmed around in his his green bondage. I began to heave, dragging him away from the fighting. Soon I came across Noah and a sleepy Jace.

“Celina…. You're not spelled. Why aren't you trying to kill us right now?” Noah pointed out.

“I'll explain later but now, let's figure out a way to fix Iain.” I explained.

“YOU LET ME GO RIGHT NOW, YOU STUPID WH-” Iain yelled before I stuffed his mouth with an Apple.

Noah glares at down at Iain. “You kidnapped a Lycan?”

“No fair! I wanted to do that! But why didn't you go after B or Nikki?” Jace asked.

“You rather deal with an angry lycan?” I protested.

“Fair point. You didn't forget to disarm him did you?”

“I was supposed to?” I gulped. Suddenly, Iain broke free of the vines with his dagger. He spit out the plump apple out of his mouth. His teeth grew large fangs.

“Is this the part of the story where we run like hell?” I asked, shaking my legs a bit.

“No, this is part where I rip out your damn throats, and drag your corpses out for the world to see.” Iain growled.

Jace reads a white pamphlet. “No, that's not till Arch 3. Anyways, RUN!”

Almost immediately Jace and I booked it, dragging a handcuffed Noah with him.  Both of them yelped in pain as the handcuffs were burning their skin. One handcuff was white, the other was a very dark grey. Dragonstone. It's an elementals kryptonite, just merely touching it burns your very flesh. Even a graze could be fatal.

“How the hell do we cure him?” Noah asked while running.

“I think I remember Airlene explaining it to me. Let me think.” I said while snapping my fingers, trying to think. “I remember! We got to distract all his rage with either physical or emotional pain.”

“I think I know what to do.” Noah declared. She stopped running then with all her strength, she kicked Iain on a certain body part that no one can see. He groaned in pain and held said area.  I grabbed his shoulders to lift him up.

“Quick, How do you feel about Nikki Monroe?” I asked.

“She's the most amazing girl I ever met. The way she sleeps with that baggy sweater she wears, her beach blonde…. Just everything is perfect with her.” Iain sighed. I looked into his eyes, still a little cracked but it was slowly wearing off.

“He's good. But Noah, how did you know that would work?” I asked her.

“Kick him in the right place, he always wakes up.” Noah confirms.

Jace laughed. “You really are my soulmate.” Jace wrapped his arm around her shoulder then kissed her forehead.

“Ok. Can we please put the romantics aside and explain to me what the hell happened?” Iain yelled.

“You got cursed, Noah and Jace are handcuffed, and now the rest group is now trying to kill us.” I explained briefly.

“What do you mean, trying to kill us?”

Suddenly, Nikki came out, her blonde hair looking horrendous. Blood stained her plaid shirt and her Levi’s. She had the strangest sword. That's funny, Nikki doesn't use a sword, and the Mirror Maze does hold a lot of swords, except…. No it can't be.

“That's not what I think it is…” Noah’s expression said it all.

“Dragonstone. That's impossible, only 5 dragonstone swords are in existence.” Jace tried to stand his ground, despite his constantly burning hand.

“Nikki. Put the sword down….” I pleaded. “We're your friends.”

Nikki gritted her teeth and lunged towards Noah. It happened so fast, the movement, the force. Jace had blocked it with the handcuff. Suddenly, a cloud of smoke appeared. The force of two pieces of dragonstones in the hands of polar opposites usually meant disastrous consequences. This one caused us to fall down. I tried to get up but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed.
