Chapter 10- All I want

When she got to their meeting point in Greendale she saw them place Penny down on the ground and remove the pillow case. She walked up to stand beside Toni, Sweet Pea and Fangs were standing across from them.

"Where am I?"Penny said out of breath.
"You're in Greendale," Jug paused "Your new home. Frankly, Penny. I don't care where you set up shop but it's not going to be in Riverdale, and it's not gonna be with the Serpents. You wanna deal drugs? You wanna extort people? That's your business, but not on the South Side, that belongs to us."

Penny began to let out an annoyed but scared chuckle "You stupid, cocky Kid. The Serpent law says you can't hurt one of your own." She then pulled up her sleeve revealing her tattoo.

Jughead stood up and began taking his jacket off causing Davina to shift uncomfortably beside Toni. "Oh Penny, it's time you learn. Grab her!" He said as he finished removing his Jacket and grabbed a switchblade.

"What are you doing! Get off of me! Get off of me!" She screamed as Fangs and Sweet Pea grabbed her.

"That tattoo doesn't make you a Serpent!" Jughead said as he grabbed her arm and cut her tattoo off, before pushing her back and walking away "don't come back, Penny."

He walked over to Davina who just came him a 'what the actual fuck, did you just do' look. All she could imagine was how their father was going to handle this and she suddenly became nauseous, she hid it though because she didn't want to look weak. The gruesome part didn't bother her, but her family being ruined did.

"Lets go!" Sweet Pea shouted at Davina who was just standing there looking at Penny who was crying in pain. She snapped her head to his direction and followed closely behind him when she got to him both Jughead and Sweet Pea stopped and looked at her while the rest of the crew left.

"What?" she questioned crossing her arms.
"You're going with Jughead," Sweet Pea said looking at her being to pout. "You're going to want to be home when FP finds out. You don't want to leave Jughead by himself."
"So now you both are experts in what I want?" she said rolling her eyes obviously annoyed that she couldn't leave with her boyfriend.
"Dav-" Sweet Pea began before she turned and walked over to the truck and climbed in. She watched him say something to Jughead before walking over to the truck where Davina was sitting. He opened the door and she looked away from him, but he turned her face to him and kissed her, at first her lips didn't budge but then they gave into him and she practically melted.

"Come over after?" He said when he pulled away from her lips and she just nodded. He then placed a kiss on her forehead before walking to his bike and Jughead climbed in the driver seat of the truck only for Davina to punch him in his arm.

"OW! What was the for!" He shouted rubbing his arm.

"For being stupid," she said before hugging him "you could have gotten seriously hurt tonight.l
"As opposed to any other night?" He said sharply
"Jug," She said to him annoyed
"I know, I just couldn't let Dad take the hits any longer." He said scratching his head.

When FP arrived at the trailer he walked in to see Pops sitting on the counter.
"What's all this?" FP questioned

"A celebratory dinner. Penny didn't show up for your meeting tonight did she?" Jughead questioned

"No she didn't, do you two know something about that?" He asked shifting his gaze between his children.

"I rallied together," Jughead began looking at Davina who just nodded at him "the younger serpents and we drove Penny out. I got my pound of flesh in the process!" He said proudly
