School ended and Rebecca got home in the bus , she was hoping that she'd see Chris in the bus on.the way homw but she didnt , may be he left on his own .. she wanted to apologize to him.. she felt really bad as to what she had done ..
She got home , grabbing her key frim her bag she opened the door and threw her bag on the couch , she closed the door behind her and collapse on the couch ..
"What's up with all the excitement ?" ,Her Father's Sarcastic comment made her jerk up a little because she wasn't really expecting him at this hour
"You are home early ?" She asked not moving her body from the couch..
"I wasn't feeling very well so they gave me a half day " He sat on the couch next to her ..
She sat up and came infront of him hearing him say that "what ? What's wrong ?" She felt worried sick inside .. the thought of seeing her father suffer was one of the things she hated ..
She put her palm on.his forhead checking for fever , he tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen .. He sighed
"I'm not sick " He held her hand and made her sit back on the couch ..
"But you just said ?"
"It was just a headache , sweetie " he said calming her down
"They gave you a half day because of a headache ?" She raised her eyebrow ..
"I've been a very good employee, they listen to me when I say I need a day off " He sneered
"You scared the hell out of me , you never take a day off " She laid her head back
"I'm sorry for committing such crime " He laughed
"Dad ?" She slowly said
"Yes"
"I think I hurt somebody today .. I dont know what to do ?" She looked down then at him
"Did you do it on purpose ?" He asked
"No , I didnt , it just sorta happened " she burried her face in her hands
He sat up and sat besides her "hey , if you didn't do it on purpose , then apologize .. I'm sure they will understand "
She gave him a smile and then sat up ..
"What's for dinner ?" She asked
"Well , nothing " He pointed to the fridge
"I was thinking Take Away Chinees ?" He walked over to the kitchen counter taking out flock if menus from the lower drawer
"If you're paying , I'm eating " she laughed picking up her bag and running upstairs to her room
THE NEXT MORNING
Chriss wasn't In the school bus again , Rebecca had this urge to.find out why ? .. she knew that she might've hurt him but it wouldn't be the reason why he wasn't in the bus yesterday and even in the morning ..
She walled around the hall thinking about him .. she had find out more ..
"Hello Barbra ?" A voice called snapping her out of her thoughts and she didn't even.had to guess who it was
"Stop calling me stupid names " she showed her palm to his face and pushed him back
"What's going on with you ?" He asked leaning to the lockers
"Where's Ella ?i need her " she shrugged her shoulders
"Ouch !" Jay Looked down .. and she knew instantly what she had said
