Rebecca played with Melody and she was surprisingly comfortable around her , chris loved seeing them together , melody also felt asleep in Rebecca's arms , he offered to drop Rebecca home but Rebecca refused saying that he shouldn't leave melody alone ..
Rebecca walked to home instead of taking a cab , it was almost 10 pm .. She's never out that late , but her dad also didn't call , so that probably meant that he wasn't home either ..
She flinched at that thought , she hated going home to an empty house .. but lately this has been her everyday .. she avoids telling Jay and Ella about this , she knows that if they know they'd insist of keeping her with them , with Ella's strict Mother , it would be so hard for her to stay there and Jay , Jay's done so much for her already she didn't wanted to trouble him even more .. she knew how caity leaving also broke him a little and she didn't wanted to be extra pressure on him ... plus him and Anna we're doing pretty fine
She rolled her eyes at the thought of Anna , but suddenly Jay's face when they made fun of her came to her thoughts , and she started thinking , what did Anna ever do to her that she dislikes her that much ..
She never had an answer for that , she reached to her house and opened the door with her keys , the lights were out , which meant that her father was not home ..
She sighed , and flipped the light switch only to find a well build man lurking around in the corner of the living room .. with his arms crossed to his chest and only his silhouette visible ..
"Hi " He Said with a cool sent tone , and she jumped at his sudden presence ..

Rebecca got up , and let the fact that he was in her house rest "What are you doing here ?" She went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water ..
He unlinked his arms from each other and walked over to the counter "I called your dad , he said he couldn't be home , again " Jay narrowed his eyes at her , almost accusing her of something ..
Even though she knew that her dad would probably not be home again but she still felt a little disappointed "Oh , I thought he'd be back" she shrugged her shoulders and walked over to a chair ..
He walked behind her "I asked you to call me if he didn't , why didn't you ?" He asked
She turned to him and glared at him for his tone "Just like I told you , I thought he would" she said sitting back on the couch and resting her back behind ..
He just sighed "Peaches ?"
"Yeah" she said without opening her eyes ..
"How is everything with your dad ? How long has this been going on "he asked in a serious concern manner
