Business Calls on a Rotary Phone

Jade dialed up the number at home and patiently waited for someone to pick up. She impatiently waited for this Charlie bloke as she vigorously tapped her foot on the wooden floor. She looked down the hall to see if her mother was spying on her, she did not want her mother to think she was ringing up a sex hotline again. A story you'll be seeing in the next chapter.

She redialed the number and after another round of waiting, someone finally picked it up.

"...Hello?"

"Yes, hi. I'm here to inquire about the ad?"

"What, what ad... Oh, shit is this another prank call?"

"No sir, this is in all curiosity and seriousness. Are you still accepting?"

This was then followed by the sound of papers shuffling in the background. Jade was once again questioning her decisions.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting for someone to call."

Jade couldn't help but smile at his statement.

"Would it be fine if I conducted an interview with you on the 6th?"

"Sure thing."

The two decided to meet up at the nearest convenience store in town. As usual, Jade has no idea what she's getting into. She's just going to go along with it and just hope for the best.
