Fox in the Akatsuki (Suigetsu Love Story)

Chapter 1

I was resting on a tree branch and I heard footsteps below me. I look to see it was Kisame.I smirked and got into a pouncing position.

"Kirra! Where are you?!" I giggled lightly and. I locked my eyes onto Kisame and pounced on his back. He lost balance but regained it in a crouching position. "There you are." He said with a smirk plastered on his face. 

"How's it going, Sharky?" I smiled evilly. Sharky was my nickname for Kisame. We were both from Kirigakure or in translation, the Village Hidden in the Mist. He chuckled a bit.

"Ain't that nickname supposed to be for Suigetsu too?" he asked me while looking over his shoulder at me. My tail and ears drooped as I sweat-dropped and bonked Kisame on the back of his head.

"No. It was Fishy for Suigetsu and Mangetsu. Remember?" I reminded him while looking at him menacingly. He laughed a bit sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck. 

"Yeah sorry. I forgot." He said as he sat up straight and I got off of his back. "Come on. Let's get back to base. Everyone's probably waiting on us." I nodded and we started walking. I began to wonder how Suigetsu was doing. I haven't seen him in years and I was actually missing him. I was so lost in thought, I didn't realize I was staring at the ground sadly. My ears perked up when I heard Kisame. "Kirra, you okay?" he asked a bit worried and I looked up at him with a fake smile and nodded then skipped ahead of him while snagging Samehada off his back. I heard him chuckle then stopped when he saw me handling Samehada. I smirked and started running to the hideout. He yelled and started chasing me. I laughed as I continued running. 

"Get back here, Kirra!" He shouted. I jumped into a tree quickly and quietly. I started jumping from branch to branch until I saw the hideout ahead. I started doing the hand signs and jumped digging my hands into the ground to lift the boulder and ran inside. Itachi was at the living room getting a seat on the couch where Sasori and Deidara were sitting. 

As I ran by, they had confused looks on their faces as I ran into Itachi and Kisame's room. I leaned against the bedroom door for a bit then sat on Itachi's bed. I checked Samehada for dirt and picked off whatever as much as I could before Itachi came in and closed the door. He saw Samehada in my lap and managed a slight smile.

"Your gonna pay for the pranks you play on everyone." Itachi said in a slightly amused voice. I chuckled.

"You do realize there are only about five members in the Akatsuki I haven't pranked yet?" I pointed out and he sighed. 

"Can't argue with that since you never pranked me. Yet." Itachi sat down on Kisame's bed. I gave a look that told him 'seriously?'

"Don't forget Pein, Konan, Zetsu and Tobi." I lifted four fingers as I said their names then Samehada's scales shifted under the bandages and I went back to taking dirt off her while apologizing for slacking off a little. 

"Pein and Konan I understand. But why Zetsu and Tobi?" I sighed in exasperation. 

"Because their difficult to think of a prank for. Not to mention, I actually get to give Tobi an encouragement to annoy Hidan and Deidara." I smirked and chuckled evilly. Itachi had his elbows on his knees with an arm dangling and his other hand covering his eyes. He sighed in annoyance. I giggled and put Samehada at the foot of the bed and got up then walked over to Itachi. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Weasel. I'll make sure he only does an hour or two of annoying them then I'll give him his payment. With me being half fox, that shouldn't be a problem." I grinned at him. He moved his middle and ring finger so he could see me.

"That's the problem itself you know. Foxes are supposed to be sly and tricky to deal with, Kirra. You just take to the next level for them." I chucked a bit and grabbed Samehada and left the room. I saw Kisame just now enter out of breath. Not that I tried to attract attention to myself, but I hid Samehada behind my back and whistled my way out of there. 

After a few steps, I started running again. I went into my room and locked my door. I chuckled a bit and sat down on the bed. I placed Samehada next to the head of my bed. Her scales shifted again into a pattern I could understand.

'You should probably take me back to him before he decides he actually does kill you.' I groaned a bit and stood up again with Samehada. 

"You're as bad of a party pooper as Zabuza was, you know that?" The scales shifted into forming a 'yes I know that.' I groaned again and left my room and put her next to Kisame and Itachi's bedroom door. I headed back to my room again and plopped onto my bed. I overlapped my legs comfortably and thought about Suigetsu again.

We were the same age and only about two months apart. We were friends since we were little. I heard a knock at the door. My tail and ears perked up slightly in surprise and I got up and opened the door to see Kisame. 

"Hey Sharky, what's up?" i grinned a bit at him.

"Pein wants us after the Nine Tails so that means we have to go to the Leaf Village soon. And I'm still angry at you for taking Samehada." I began to laugh a little while Kisame stood there glaring at me. He sighed with a smirk and left. I closed the door and put on my mask that I wore when we were on missions like this or something. Except the Akatsuki. They all knew about what my canines. Especially Kisame. All my teeth were pointy with fangs.

I left and the first thing that happens....Hidan getting punched in the face by me for trying to jump-scare me. 

"Hello Hidan. See ya later." I smirked happily and left with Kisame and Itachi who were waiting outside. They looked at me as if wondering what took me so long. "Sorry for the slack off. Hidan decided to try and jump scare me." Kisame chuckled a bit and Itachi sighed. I ran a little to catch up with them.

Hey guys! So this is literally my first run trying to write a Suigetsu x OC story so please don't judge me too badly. I planned this story a long time ago and I kinda forgot about it when I found it in my binders again. I decided to just continue this story the way it is since there are quite a few entertaining parts. I also plan on having this story go on Quotev too. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this story!
