Fox in the Akatsuki (Suigetsu Love Story)

Chapter 3

We headed back to the hideout since we had to work a bit more on training to catch him successfully. I was in Konan's room dong a bit f origami with her. I did a bunch of origami fish while staring out in space thinking about Suigetsu. I made him some origami fish on his birthday in a windchime.

"Kirra?" I quickly look at Konan and she has a raised eyebrow. "Your supposed to make origami flowers....not fish."She giggled a little and I had a slight blush when I saw I made about twelve origami fish.

"I-I um...just wanted to...m-make them f-for a f-friend." I said blushing a little more than before. Konan smiled.

"Okay. Who is it you like?" She asked and I felt myself blush more till my cheeks were a dark red.

"S-Suigetsu.......Hozuki...." I whispered. She chuckled and my face went completely red. I looked away.

"Well, I think I've heard of a Hozuki who was a Swordsman of the Mist. I can't remember his name though." My ears and tail perked up in excitement and my blush went away completely. I bolted my head towards her.

"Mangetsu?!" I said a bit too excitedly. She giggled and nodded.l

"Yeah, that's it. How do you know that? The only one who came from the Sepven Swordsman of the Mist was Kisame from what I know." I nodded back at her.

"I actually grew up with the Swordsman of the Mist so I know everyone there. I guess you could say They were like family to me. Me and my friend, Suigetsu were taught under the same sensei." I smiled and we both went back to to making our origami.

"Who was your sensei?" Konan asked me and I glanced her for a second then went back to my origami and paused.

"Zabuza. He was known by others as the Demon of the Mist. I wanted to become a Swordsman like him along with Suigetsu but..." my voice trailed off as I just stared at the finished origami fish in my hands. I felt cold and shivered and I felt a tear threaten to fall.

"Kirra, what happened?" Konan asked snapping me from my thoughts. I kept my head down to where see couldn't see my eyes.

"Mangetsu died on a mission, Suigetsu was taken by Orochimaru, then Zabuza and Kisame went rouge. After about a year or so though, I went rogue myself on the same day. Then a few months later, you and Pein found me and allowed me to join. So, since I had no where else to go, I joined." I said sadly and I didn't want to say but I had to. I never told anyone and Kisame already knew the story. I felt a hand on my shoulder and my tail perked up slightly in alarm. I looked to see Konan and my tail relaxed again. She seemed sad as well.

"I'm sorry, Kirra. I guess that's kinda heard on you isn't it?" I nodded and looked at the origami fish again. I started to remember how happy me and Suigetsu were when we were alone at the Mist Village. Even though we usually fought all the time. I normally yanked on his hair and he'd try to yank on my hair since I barely grew my canines. We mainly did it especially around Zabuza-sensei. But hey...what were frenimies for? Obviously not cut each other's heads off. Well....I do it with Hidan every morning when I have to wake him up and it always works like a charm. But I use my own sword for it though since I always carry it around. I normally just used my sword against another swordsman. Other than that though, i just stuck with kunais.

Me and Konan continued to talk and do origami the rest of the night and when I got a bit tired, I made a paper box to hold my origami fish and went to my room. I went into my closet and put the put the box on the shelf for storage then I went to bed.
