Fox in the Akatsuki (Suigetsu Love Story)

Chapter 2

We made it to the Leaf Village and I decided to search for the Nine Tailed Fox here. I figured that the only ways for me to find him would be to look for someone pulling a lot of pranks or something being a fox though. Normally, all I have to do is breathe through my nose and I could pretty much see where they went.

"Got anything on the Nine Tailed kid?" Kisame knew about how good my senses were since I practically grew up with the Seven Swordsman. I've only joined the Akatsuki about five years ago and I haven't had to use my senses around the others except Zetsu.

"No. Not yet. I'll go search for him in the branch areas. You guys continue and see if you can find him from down here. I'll see you guys again when I find him." They both nodded and I left. I continued my search until I caught a scent similar to Itachi's but not quite. It smelled like he was panicking. A lot. I kept my hood over my head and and my tail hidden in my cloak. My ears and tail both twitched at the scent simotaniously.

-May be another Uchiha. But they were all killed off! Wait a sec...except one. Itachi told me he left one Uchiha alive and it was his brother. So, that means....- I narrowed my eyes at the raven haired boy who wore a dark blue shirt with the Uchiha symbol on his back. -I'll follow him. Maybe he'll know where the Nine Tailed Fox is. Talking about a piece of cake.- I started following him along the roofs of the buildings.

*Time Skip*

We got to a hotel and the boy didn't come out. So, I took it upon myself to check it out. I got to a certain floor and i saw Kisame and Itachi. They were with a blonde boy around my age which I figured was the Jinchuriki that Pein sent us for. There was also an old guy with white spiky hair in a ponytail holding a random girl. I snickered a little at that.

"Hi again, sharky." I smirked and he grinned.

"Who are you?! Tell me what's going on here!" The blonde yelled. I chuckled.

"A bit on the mad side, huh? Well, makes it easier on me." I took off my hood and got in a stance. "How about we start a little mini battle?" I gave a cocky grin. That is before Itachi messed it up for me.

"No Kirra. We're not here to fight.  We're only here for one thing." I growled a little and my grin turned into a pout.

"Come on Weasel. I wanted to have a little fun before we left with him. I'm sure Leader-sama won't mind."

"Now, Kirra." He activated his Sharingan and I quickly looked away pouting more. I started cursing under my breath and mumbled.

"Fine. I wanted a little fun since I was bored." Itachi always made me get away from fights which was a reason why I chose to be on Zetsu's team. Not to mention, we get along in an 'okay' way. I normally just defeated a person and let Zetsu eat them if they were requested to die.

"Hey! We're still here you know!"  The blonde yelled and the next thing I knew, the whole area turned into flesh. I looked at the old man and he had knelt down and his hands were to the ground.

"Don't move Naruto." After the old man said that I started to think of a plan and I was pretty sure Itachi knew what I was thinking and nodded slightly. I smirked and ran right past the blonde and the old man. I stopped in front of Itachi and Kisame then did hand signs.

"Water Style: Hidden Mist Jutsu!" Everything was covered in dense mist. Itachi, Kisame and I took the chance to ran and Itachi used his black flames and blasted the wall. We escaped and started to run.

After a bit, I had to rest while Kisame and Itachi went ahead. I began to wonder how Zabuza was doing on his own missions. Too bad whoever went against him died. I chuckled a bit at the thought then I got up and headed away.

I met up again with Itachi and Kisame. Itachi had his eyes closed and Kisame sat next to him.

"Another encounter?" Itachi nodded a bit. I sighed. "Of course. You didn't burn your eyes did you, Weasel?" I was worried about him a bit. Kisame answered for Itachi before he could open his mouth to speak for himself.

"Only a little. He should be okay in a few minutes." I nodded.

"I'll be looking around. Until then, wait until Weasel recovers." I then left without another word.
