Fox in the Akatsuki (Suigetsu Love Story)

Chapter 7

A small group of four ninja were walking underneath us and I glanced in both directions of the others before smirking a bit as I looked at them. I put on my kitsune mask as I jumped down and swiftly charged through all four with an unsheathed katana. When I got through, I was standing ahead of them as I looked back at them and they all fell dead with no screams.

"Let's go, Tobi and Deidara." I said simply through my mask.

"Since when did you wear the mask?" Deidara asked and I took it off.

"I only wear it on my missions and most of them were with Zetsu, so you wouldn't have known." I said simply as I set it in my bag. "Those ninja had poor sensing."

I went towards the doors of the building and Deidara and Tobi were shortly behind me. The building seemed abandoned practically and I sniffed around and found four fresh scents.

"Man, there's nobody here, so taking down those four was a waste of time."

"No, there's four others here." I said and both Deidara and Tobi looked at me as I walked down the hall.

*Suigetsu's POV*

"Maybe you should've stuck with Kirra on her mission, because you're only becoming more annoying with your bellyaching!" Karin yelled and I let out an exhausted sigh from Karin's bellyaching.

"Well then, how about you join her and find out why I hate her?" I said simply and Karin threw a punch but when she hit me, it was simply like she punched a puddle as I always pull on her whenever she hits me.

"Enough, you two." Sasuke said and once my face recovered again, I growled a bit.

"Bitch started it." I said, pointing my thumb at Karin.

"I started it?! You were the one to start it with your complaining!" She yelled and Sasuke glared, making us both stop talking.

-Dammit. Pretty sure that Kirra wouldn't have to deal with this much annoyance. Well, she's lucky to not be stuck woth Karin, at least.-

*Kirra's POV*

I stood on top of a pile of four corpses and I had a childish grin. "All through!" I swear I saw a twitch from one of the corpses and I stomped on their head as hard as I could.

"Geez. They're dead, Kirra. Hurry up and get over here." Deidara said and I looked at Deidara and Tobi by the safe in the back of the room.

"But it twitched! The finger twitched!" I exclaimed, gesturing to the body I just stomped the head of.

"Are you seriously unaware that dead bodies occassionally twitch anyway? Now get over here!" Deidara yelled and I growled with a pout.

"Fine...jerk." I muttered as I went over to Deidara and Tobi.

"You know how to pick locks, right?" I crouched to get to the same level as the safe lock.

"You know, picking locks is different than this," I said before standing straight and heading to the desk in the room. I opened the drawer and began looking through it. "Hopefully that guy is a forgetful one." I pulled out a stack of papers that were in the drawer but the stack was also nearly half a foot tall.

"What are you thinking you can find in that?" Deidara asked and I began quickly tearing through the papers I thought useless.

Unfortunately, nothing. So I went back over to the safe and since it was built in, I smirked and grabbed a kunai knife before adding a paper bomb to it and Deidara glared.

"If you needed something explosive, I could've done so." Deidara said and I smirked.

"Come on, where'd the fun be in that? Besides, I think this would more or less be a waste of chakra if you did it."
