Forbidden Love(Severus Snape Love Story)

Chapter 9

It was finally the end of the day, thank Merlin! My last class got out at Three so I have some time before I have to meet up with Ethan. As I'm walking down the hall I notice a group of first year Slytherin boys surrounding a first year Hufflepuff. Wait a minute....that's my first year! I run as fast as I can and notice Tommi was on the floor.

"Hey! What is going on?" I shouted as I approached them

"None of your business." One hissed glaring at me 

"We're just showing this filthy mudblood his place." Another said with a smirk across his face.

My blood started boiling. "Listen here you over privileged toe rags" I spat at the bullies. "If I EVER catch you bullying this kid, or anyone else for that matter, I will hang you by your toes from one of the Quidditch posts. Do you understand?" I threatened the little snots. This must've worked considering they all shook their heads and quickly sped away. "Tommi are you okay?" I said as I knelt down next to him to get a better look at him. When he lifted his head I instantly saw his right eye was starting to swell and his lip was bleeding

"Yeah I'm fine." he said quietly trying not to make eye contact with me. "Thank you...for helping me."

"Of course. You're my friend. If they or anyone else gives you a hard time come find me okay?"

he silently nodded his head

I sighed "Okay. Now let's get you to the Hospital Wing so Madame Pomfery can get a look at your eye and lip." I got up and helped him up.  Once we got there I opened the wooden doors and let Tommi walk in first.

"Oh dear! What happened?" questioned the Medi Witch.

"Some other boys thought it would be funny to rough him up." I explained putting my hand on his shoulder giving him a comforting squeeze.

"Well I'll have that reported to Dumbledore. For now find an empty cot Mr. Hogan, and I'll be right with you." She said and then made her way across the room to help another patient.

"If you want Tommi, I can stay here with you." I said

"No it's fine. But thank you. I really appreciate it." He said giving me a small smile.

"Okay. I'll see you later short stack." I said ruffeling his hair before leaving the Hospital Wing. I check my watch. Hmmm 4:00. I think I'll take a walk around the grounds before I meet up with Ethan.  

"Miss. Laoch." a deep voice said from behind me

I turn around and see Professor Snape walking towards me. "Yes Professor?" I asked

"It has caught my attention that you have threatened some students from my house.. Care to explain?" He drawled, towering over me

"Well Professor." I said putting my hands on my hips.  "They threatened and beat up a first year from my house. They called him an intolerable name and I would not stand for it. I admit that threatening them was not appropriate on my part and I apologize for that, but I was heated in the moment."

"Well in case you didnt notice Miss. Laoch, but I am the professor not you." he sneered at me "I will handle my students, not you. Now as punishment, you have detention with me for a week with me after dinner."

"But sir!" I exclaimed

"DO... I make myself clear." He said scowling down at me

"Yes sir." I said, walking away furious.
