. . . Blood . . .

There's nothing but a pool of blood all around the ground while a 10 year old you stands in the middle of the dark place, wailing your eyes out as it starts to stain your white sleeves with tears, continuously streams down on your pretty yet bruised face.

Light soon beams in front of you, catching your curiosity and didn't hesitate to run after it. The light goes much more brighter in each ever step you made, causing for you to black your eyes from the light, the warmth of the light starts to hit your skin that almost calmed your nerves.

Until it suddenly disappeared. . .

Helplessly looking for the warm light, you've only been invited with everlasting darkness as it starts to consume your body, crawling up to your skin as your throat starts to feel dry and you start to panic. You cannot talk nor shout from the pain that the shadows makes you feel helpless.

A presence. . . .

Emerged behind you as it whispers directly to your ear, its hot breath caused for a shiver to run down your spine, whimpering in fear.

..Help

Its hands placed on top of your shoulder and before you know it, it dug all of its sharp claws into your skin, only letting out a whimper from the pain you've just encountered

It continues to whisper gibberish words that you do not know as its intense grip only tightens even more, blood trickles down to your skin and also staining your dirty clothes with crimson.

You snap your eyes open to quickly saw a familiar crimson eyes darts down on you while her own pink locks blocks half of your face. Knitting your eyebrows in annoyance, Melody quickly put the strands of her hair at the back of her ears. "Are you ok?!" Melody's worried tone quickly calmed you down before nodding your head reassuringly. "What happened?"

"Yuno told me what happened!! It took huge amount of your energy that caused you to be out cold for a week!!" Her worried expression turns into a dark frown, not really liking what had happened. With a deep sigh, you shove her off of your body then sat up from the bed, also just in time for a sound of an opening door chimed in. Seeing Sister Lily holding a tray of hot soup and clean water. "Good, you're finally awake!" Sister Lily happily walks up to you, placing the tray on top of the brown nightstand then beams you a warm smile. "Thank you for being generous but Im not really hungry.." as if on cue, your stomach lets out a growl, causing you to blush in embarrassment and averted your eyes.

Sister Lily giggled at you, grabbing the bowl of soup then gave it to you with her welcoming smile, "or do you want me to feed yo--"

"Im fine, sister. Not like I cant feed myself" with a huff, you grab the bowl then starts to eat, ignoring the frowning Melody at the bedside. Taking a deep breath, Melody didn't let you off the hook on how you manage to use your own powers. Well, you've made up some reasons until you finally told her the truth. She's so persistent... "I only deflected the man's attack. I dont know why nor how. It just appeared on its own" you exclaimed, hoping for her to let go of your shoulders. Yet it only tightens, her straight lips deepens before taking a deep breath then finally letting go of your aching shoulders. "Thank you.." you sarcastically told her while she only rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, now staring to calm down.

"There must be a reason why it suddenly appeared on its own. Is it because of your desire to use it to protect yourself and the others? Or maybe it doesn't want you dead yet?"

"Are you sure you want me to stay alive? You can always kill me anytime, anywhere" you said in a calm manner but sarcasm fills the empty gap inside your voice. Melody only scoffed in annoyance, not wanting to hop into your behavior. Ignoring what you had said, Melody continued "I'll figure this out later but for now, lets watch Yuno and Asta's entrance exam for 'magic knights' " you commented, swallowing the last spoonful of potato soup. "Loving it, aren't we? Well sister Lily and Yuno made it special just for you" Melody teased with a sly smirk carved in her face. You only stuck you tongue out cutely which caused for your friend to chuckle.

"Playful as ever. Come on!"

"Huh? To where? Plus I just woke up.."

"She's right. Let her rest for now. The exam will be held tomorrow noon, so don't worry!" Sister Lily commented with her familiar smile. You and Melody both nod your heads before sister Lily excused herself to do some more chores. Picking up the dirty dishes before she completely goes out of the room. Your eyes goes directly to a frowning Melody before you, arms crossed in disbelief, also tapping her foot in worry. "Now. Explain."

"Huh? Explain what??

"You've been trashing around the bed while whimpering, also mumbling for help. Are you ok?" She worriedly asked. Without any hesitation, you nod your head reassuringly before laying back down again to take another rest. You clearly didn't want to talk about what you've dreamt off and Melody caught your silent message of pushing her away. "Tell me before it gets out of hand, ok? Always remember that Im here for you, not as the crowned princess of the highest kingdom of our dimension, but as a friend. Excuse me" She lastly did a curtsy before walking out of the room while your back face her figure.

You cannot stop yourself but to take a deep breath then flops over until you're staring at the ceiling with your left arm resting on your forehead.

You can still remember the dream you had earlier, making you uncomfortable on the bed. You start to play with your own (h/c) hair, getting more uneasy as the time goes by. It felt so real that a shiver creeps up to your skin.

Shaking the off the thought, you gave off a reassuring smile, hoping to calm your own nerves. Eyes looking down at the palm of your hands.

"I'll be fine..."

. . .They're just dreams. . .

Sorry for the huuuuuge delay! Ahuhu forgive meeeeh ;___; I have a tight schedule this past few weeks and I just got too stressed and decided to cool off by continuing this book(since it only have a few chapters. . . .)
