One day, back at The Palace Tamara walked into her bathroom, leaving Call in her bed so he could sleep while she washed her face and brushed her teeth. But when she looked after rubbing her eyes continuously, she saw black paint on her mirror which read,

"I'm here, and I will end both of you."

Tamara screamed in horror causing Call to wake and appear quickly behind her, seeing what she saw.  She immediately started shaking, infuriated that anyone would threaten Call.  He spun her and held her tight, ensuring her it would be okay but she was angry, fearful, and filled with adrenaline, and there was no chance of her calming down.  Throughout the day, there was chaos, Tamara's parents insisting for her to not stay at the Palace where all the Union claimed she'd be safer and that she and her parents had signed a contract saying she'd have to stay at The Palace unless it's a school wide break. Classic Alistair even came back with his son with the plan to run back to the mainland with his son, but Call refused to leave Tamara, so by 8:30 that night, the only difference that had been made was Palace guards taking shifts at every one of she and Call's penthouse entrances.  The four tried to check in on Tamara and keep her company but it was obvious that no matter how polite and natural she tried to seem, she wanted to be alone, at mos with call. No matter how much she told herself it was okay, Tamara didn't want to sleep in her room so Call warmly welcomed her to his.

It had been half an hour of her laying on his chest restlessly, failing to stop shaking no matter how bad Call tried to make her, when Call asked,

"Tamara what's a happy place for you, maybe I could take you there,"

"I don't really want to go anywhere," she whispered, "My happy place is with you," she said without hesitation.

"Well we can thank Alex for taking that away since you're obviously not happy but I didn't mean physically, what's a place you can picture that can always make you calm,"

"It's usually with you," she said flatly,

"Wait really? Even when I was gone?" Her face was serious,

"Yes, I'd fantasize about being with you again, it was usually the only thing that kept me going," He was surprised yet a bet honored to be who Tamara Rajavi fantasized about, even when they weren't together.  'Wait are we together now' he wondered.  He'd gladly ask her on a date to officially get things going again but he figured a romantic date wouldn't be the best thing to ask his crush while The Enemy of Death was after them so instead he said,

"Well, how about before you met me?" She thought about it for a moment,

"I didn't really have to think of a happy place, I had a pretty good life," Maybe he was paranoid, but he couldn't drop the fact that she said 'had' as in past tense.

"Had?" he asked a mindlessly yet hurt,

"No, no, Call, I'm not saying my life isn't good right now. I just meant that as we mature and mostly as Mages, we all go through troubles, it's just the way life is," He knew he meant a lot to her, she proved that, it's just that everything he knew was bad in her life had something to do with him, and before he could ponder on it too much, she looked up with her dopey big brown eyes,

"Call," she said in a softly,

"Yea. Yea sorry.  But anyways, if you can't think of one, I'll choose." He paused thinking for a moment, "Okay close your eyes," she hesitantly did feeling a bit idiotic, even as a kid, she always thought daydreaming and imagining things where a bit immature.  He rubbed her back and in a calm, deep voice said,

"Your sitting on a beach over a soft midnight blue towel." He started to say slowly, immediately changing his voice to a more rich and tranquilizing one. Seductive yet calming. It was a clever setting as well considering they could hear the waves of the beach seen through Call's window. Your hair is down and wavy over your coffee sweater above you black leggings which kept you warm in the soft breeze carrying the smell of the ocean.  The clear water of the waves are crashing in layers in front of the dark sunset which is reflecting a pink color behind the dark waves.  The plunging waves let go of a few drops of water to flow over the sand and kiss your perfect soft toes before they return to the body of water." She giggled at the personification, disturbing their synchronized deep breaths. "I'm holding you much like I am now, laying on one of the many dark boulders scattered across the hundreds of feet of sand under the curved tall palm trees being the closest to the ocean among the hundreds of them.  You look to the left to see waves crashing against the pile of black rocks lying at the bottom of a cliff.  You look at the silver luminous yet small moon behind the majestic mesmerizing riptide before closing your eyes, allowing your nightly fantasies to take over."

And soon enough was picturing being with her in such a serene state himself, making him tired as well.  He finally shut his eyes, leaving reality with both of their worries for their nightly fantasies, just for the night.
