"Annie? Hey..... What's wrong?" I said

"What? You don't.... Know me?" She shook her head

"What? Why? Annie, I'm your Erenou" I said holding her hands

"I don't remember a boy name Erenou.... And, what am I doing here?" She said starting to tear

Suddenly. There was a knock on the door. It was the doctor

"Sir? She's awake?!" I nod

"But. It seems to be. She has. Memory loss" I said walking towards the doctor

"Yes, and this heart disease of her is not just an ordinary disease. It is Called vascular dementia, it is a type of mental decline that’s thought to be caused by problems in blood flow o the brain. It is believed to be different from the loss of memory and function that happens in Alzheimer’s disease, which is linked to the buildup of proteins in the brain. But, there is chance that she'll be forgetting the people so close to her. Due to the damage of her brain. Because it is also possible that it is a Alzheimer disease she's carrying because of her brain which is so damaged right now. But don't worry. This won't be permanent. She needs to rest more often before letting her remember everything. OK?" (I just copied those information from the internet OK? 😂)

I nod not looking at the doctor but at the floor

I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Don't worry son, shell be fine. Right now, you need to make her comfortable" I look at Annie then at the Doctor

"Thanks doc" I smiled as he left

"Annie?" I look at her as she smiles

I took a chair and sat on it facing Annie

"What are you to me in my life?" She questioned

"I'm. Your Erenou, your boyfriend" I smiled as hers fade away

"How, come? I mean, am I the only daughter?"

"No, you have a brother"

"Can I meet him? I don't have parents?"
"Annie, yes you do. But, they won't be able to visit you, they left and not sure if they'll come back, it's just you and your brother. And me" I smiled slowly touching her cheek

"That's. Good, um. Do you mind?" I let go and that made my heart broke into many pieces,

"I'm gonna call your brother OK?"

"You better be" she said not looking at me
