Start Over?

Eren's POV

I was drunk. Again

Why? Annie isn't Annie anymore

I can't take it.

The way she talks to me, the way she just treats me like a normal person

I love her so bad, I hate it when she doesn't love me back

Jake was on his way to Annie, I was still in my room, drinking. Mom keeps banging the door but who gives a shit?

"Son, OPEN THE DOOR!" My dad yelled

"I'm sleeping here!" I yelled back holding a bottle of beer in my hand

"No your not! If you don't open this door right now. I'll never let you leave your room ever! Your not gonna go see Annie anymore. Is that OK with you!!?"
"The hell dad?! Can't you just leave me alone?!"

Then, silence took over. Maybe they left. Finally

"This wouldn't happen....... If that pesky shit (Christa) would just understand what's happening!"
Tears began to form in my eyes

This is not what I wanted

I thought Fate brought this together?

I guess it's just a lie anyways

*knock* *knock*

Suddenly. The door opens slowly

I turn around to see Mikasa smiling

"The hell do you want?" I said pissing her off

"Eren, this isn't you, I know your sad, depressed, angry and. Worried. But. I just want to say that. Your not alone. We wanna help Eren, so stop being a disappointment to Mom, Dad, and Annie"

"I already am a disappointment. Can't. You see?"

"No, of course not. That's not who you are. Cause, I know you, your my brother, my little naughty brother" she started pinching my cheek

"Argh, stop it Mika" I smiled

"Now, please stop drinking and go to Annie"

"Your not coming?" she shook her head

"Well. OK, just let me change"

"OK" she smiles as she left

Annie's POV

"Brother?"

"Yes, I am your brother" the guy said wearing a sweater and skinny jeans

"What's your name?"

"Jake, Jake Leonhart, your name is Annie Leonhart" he said as he walks towards me

"Nice to meet you" I smiled

"As you know, uh, your having a memory loss. But don't worry this won't be permanent, just listen to what I say OK?" I nod

"B-brother, is it true that I have a boyfriend?"

He looked at me as he spoke

"Uh, yeah, why?"

"It's just. I don't feel comfortable about it."

"What do you want me to do?"

"Can we, start over? You know, me not having a boyfriend, go back to school, and make a normal life" he was silent, not knowing what to do,

"But, that doesn't change a thing, Annie, your just struggling, but don't worry, I'll help you, remember everything"

"F-fine" I said with a shaky voice

I didn't like what was going on at all, I just wish everything was normal

I was scared, and depressed at the same time

I didn't know what to do

Suddenly with a blink of an eye, the door opens revealing the guy who's apparently my 'Boyfriend'

"Jake?" He spoke

"Uh, Eren, I need to talk to you" brother said as they both left the room without any hesitation

Eren's POV

I open the door revealing Annie and Jake

How Annie look at me. I knew that she was scared

But I was happy to see her OK

"Jake?"

"Uh, Eren, I need to talk to you" with that, he drag me as we both left the room

"What's wrong Jake?" I said?

"Annie. Annie's been thinking of starting over again"

No words came out of my mouth, I knew what he meant

"W-what? Why?"

"Because, she's scared, and by telling that she has a boyfriend which is you really freaks her out, she wants to start over Eren. You as her friend. Only"

I widen my eyes. Not knowing what to say

I can't let Annie do this. She's important to me

"But, I won't let her of course. You make my sister happy and I'm happy too with that. Dad doesn't like this either. I know him. So please, let's help her remember. As soon as possible"

"I-i'll try, *sigh* I'll be back OK?"
