Once Clinton introduced us to everyone, we kind of just squeezed ourselves in. And I finally found out that his name was Clinton, with no help from Alex. She was still going strong, although I banned her from drinks for the rest of the night. She was talking and laughing on the other side of the couch with Clinton, Christian, Jesse and Alexa. Since I was forced to sit next to Mitchel, I felt bad because I was cutting him off from his friends.

"Do you want to switch places?" I asked, loud enough for him to hear over the music.

He leaned up from his laying back position, his braids swinging from the motion.

"No its okay. I'm kinda liking the view." he smiled.

I softly responded with a soft 'oh okay' and turned my head to the other side. It was pretty dark in here, but I was still trying to hide my smile and slightly tinted cheeks. Trying to calm my heart down, I zoned into the others' conversation.

"There is no way she is going like that. She needs a bed. Or at least water." Clinton said.

"Yeah Clinton's right. She can barely stand up without tipping over." Alexa added.

"Who can barely stand?" I asked.

They all looked at me and then looked near Clinton. I followed their gazes and found Alex asleep on his lap. I cursed under my breath.

"I'm so sorry. She usually handles her alcohol way better than this. I can take her home."

I stood up from the couch, stumbling a little because of the alcohol in my system. I felt a pair of hands on my waist, holding me steady. I looked over my shoulder to see Mitchel gripping my waist with a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Are you sure you can make it home?" he asked.

"Yeah. We'll be fine. It's not our first rodeo." I laughed.

I shuffled around the table and walked towards Alex. I wanted to punch her for taking away the one opportunity I had with a cute ass guy.

"We're going with you. Christian, you guys can't just let them go by themselves." Alexa argued.

I tried to argue against her but the boys soon jumped in saying she was right. Which I guess she was. I was not completely sober and Alex was completely knocked out. I definitely felt safer with some arm muscle with us. I worried because I only knew them for about an hour and who knows who these people were, but my sober side got outvoted this time. Everyone began to stand up and started to leave the club. Jesse left to got to his apartment and Alexa and Christian went home together, leaving the four of us. Clinton volunteered to carry Alex so I wouldn't have to struggle. We called an Uber and waited outside, trying to stay out of people's way.

"Sorry we ruined your night." I apologized to Mitchel.

"You didn't. Plus the party was dead anyway. I think we were going to leave early anyway." he said.

"Well I feel better now knowing that I didn't shatter your night of insane partying and binge drinking." I joked.

"Don't worry. We'll have some more nights like this."

"We'll?"

"Yes. We, as in me, Clinton, Jesse, Alexa, Christian, Alex, and you." he said, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

Not knowing how to respond, I let out a small laugh and a giant smile appeared on my face. The car arrived just in time to prevent the awkward silence that was bound to happen. Clinton put Alex in the car and sat in after she was placed properly. I sat in the front seat because I was the only one who knew where we were going. I told the man the address and he began to drive. This was so odd to me. I didn't know how to respond. I never got the guys that I liked or thought was cute. I know I was probably acting like a ten year old girl but I couldn't help it. I turned my head around and looked at Mitchel. His face was lit up from the screen on his phone. He looked up and gave me a wink. I rolled my eyes and faced forward again.
