Dôbutsu to hanasu Shôjo ! (the girl that speaks with animals !)

Chapter Three

       The party ended some time ago, and everyone was supposed to have gone to sleep.

       At 3 in the morning, Mistia had put some normal looking clothes (compared to her everyday ones), she took with her what she guessed would come in handy: some money, some fruits (as food since she loved them best), a small lamp, her favourite book, papers and a pencil.

       She wrote before a letter to her father, saying that he didn't need to worry... "I will be back with the man whom I wish to spend the rest of my life with." She added at the end of her letter.

       After making sure no one would see her she got out of her room. Taking turns on ways and corridors she knew weren't frequented by many, she reached the garden.

       Just as she was about to continue her advance someone spoke behind her "Caught you!!". Mistia jumped in surprise, her heart must have stopped for one second there, she needed all her power to refrain herself from shouting. Turning around she glared at that person, the only one who would dare do this to her, her sister.

       - "Lii you really scared me!!" she whisper shouted

       - "What are you doing here at this hour?"

       - "I could ask you the same! Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"

       - "I knew you would try something, so I stayed up in case you tried to run away!" Lidalia said proudly

       - "*sigh* I guessed as much..."

       - "But onee-chan how could you do this to me? Do you hate me so much you want to run away alone??" Lidalia made her puppy eyes again

       - "No... I knew you would find me and follow me anyways, so I just trusted your instinct!" Mistia said flicking her sister's head

       - "ouch... you're mean!!"

       - "I know! Now choose: you go back or come with me?"

       - "I go with you of course!!"

       - "Good..." was the brief answer Mistia gave before continuing her escape.

       They walked in the dark, passed the town peacefully without anyone noticing them, and continued through the forest.

       As the day broke they had already passed the borders. They were now in Clarines.
