5) See Great Wall of China.
We climbed into the airport and Alexa slid her headphones in. I smiled and watched as she carefully picked her All Time Low song. She was torn between So Long, Soldier and Lost In Stereo. Her thumb finally pressed on So Long, Soldier. She passed me a headphone and we mimed the words.
Back in '95
A little boy from just outside of London
Took a fated trip across the ocean
And little did he know
That he would find his voice in verse and chorus
Making wishes on his broken stereo
Can't shake the noise from his bones
Hear it all play out in distant echoes
So long, soldier
Cruise controller
Satellite trajectory, guide us in to reverie
And come down to voice a generation
Late 2005
The boy's got plans as crazy as his friends
They take their chances driving West alone
Give 'em six more years, and see what time will do for hopeless dreamers
Singing wishes to their broken stereo
You can't shake the noise from their bones
Hear it all play out in distant echoes
So long, soldier
Cruise controller
Satellite trajectory, guide us in to reverie
And come down to voice a generation
So long, soldier
Cruise controller
Satellite trajectory, guide us in to reverie
And come down to voice a generation
She fell asleep a while after and I put a blanket over her softly, I decided to text my mum to make sure they were all OK.

*SOME TIME LATER*
We arrived and we both hopped out, I laughed as Alexa was dancing around excitedly.
Once we saw the grat wall of China we began taking pictures, Alexa and smiled at me happily before pulling me into a hug.
"Thanks again, Cal." She smiled.
"Seriously Lex, it's alright, you don't need to keep saying thanks." I replied to her, she smiled at me and turned to he Great Wall of China.
"I bet I could run from the start to the end before you." She said challengingly.
"Oh really?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah really." She laughed.
"Ok then, take this and we'll start." I mumbled passing her a water bottle. She nodded and we began running along it.
It wasn't long before we stopped, we were both out of breath and tired. Once we finished we headed back to our hotel.
She laid on the bed and closed her eyes, I crawled in beside her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Night Lex."
"Night Cal."
