Day 7.

7) Message in a bottle.

After Alexa fell asleep on yesterdays trip and I managed to get her to the hotel, with no problems. She was still asleep now, but today I had planned for us to do a message in the bottle, so it didn't matter what time she woke up.

It was about 10am when I woke up, I turned over in my double bed and faced the 16 year old. She was sound asleep, her breathing was even and quiet and her chest would rise and fall softly.

The more I looked at her, the more she looked appealing. I shouldn't be falling for her, but I already am.

I kicked the covers off me and made sure they were around her before I stood up. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water and locked the door. I hopped in the shower and quickly washed before climbing out.

I slowly changed into plain black tank, black jeans and Vans. I walked out and saw Alexa hurled over in pain.

"LEX!" I screamed, I ran over and looked at her, she was crying and holding her chest and stomach.

"Cal...It hurts...help..." She breathed, tears streamed down her face as her heavy breathing turned into pants.

"I got you!" I exclaimed and picked her up, I carried her to the hospital down the road.

"CAN I HAVE SOME HELP PLEASE!" I screamed, doctors and nurses rushed over and took her to a room.

They refused to let me in the room and I grabbed my hair in frustration.

They furiously tried to stop her screaming. They injected her with painkillers and she soon calmed down.

They gave her a number of injections and tablets before they left her to rest.

"Um, can I see her now?" I asked.

"Yes, there's nothing serious going on, it was lack of food, liquid and oxygen." He told me. Oh shit, I totally forgot, she barely ate.

"I'm sorry that's my fault." I mumbled sadly, I was so worried her life had been cutshort, I was so upset.

"It's ok, just make sure she eats and drinks regularly." The doctor told me, I nodded. I walked in and she looked over at me.

"Hey, Cal." She smiled, I leaned over and kissed her head.

"Hey, I'm sorry." I muttered, she shook her head and sighed.

"No it was my fault. Now shh, have you got any paper?" She asked, I shook my head.

"Can you do me a massive favour and go get paper, a pen and a bottle." She questioned, I nodded and kissed her head before leaving. I collected the stuff and headed back to her.

She smiled happily and thanked me with a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks Cal and I've sorry but you can't look!" Alexa giggled, I nodded and messed on my phone.

She wrote out the letter before rolling it around and placing it in the blue bottle. She put the cork in tightly before giving it to me.

"Can we go to the ocean!" She excitedly asked while jumping up and down.

"Yeah, come on." I smiled helping her out of bed. I gave her my hoodie cause she was in her PJs and carried her to the beach which was just down the road.

The sun was just setting over the water when I placed her on the sand.

"OMG, I haven't been to the beach since I was like 10!" She exclaimed, I smiled and we ran down ro the water. She rolled up her PJ bottoms and walked into the water giggling. The sleeves of my jacket hung way over her hands. She giggled and smiled at me.

"Come on." I walked in and passed her the bottle, she placed it in the water but brought it back out again.

"Kiss it!" She giggled happily.

"Ok! You have to as well!" I told her, she nodded and smiled. I brought the bottle to my lips and kissed it. She did the same before she placed it in the water and pushed it away.

"To smile, you dream."
