Argon P.O.V.

Clang.

I was fighting with a T.A.N.K. Bot, one of the schools robots made for training to prepare us for the front lines. I thought it was kind of stupid, we are never going to fight enemies with such predictable moves.

Clang Clang.

We were going to be fighting actual people, who we can't read as easily. I was so angry about it too, we are not the dean's personal army awaiting his every command.

"AHHHHH!~" I high pitched scream echoed through the room as Silicon was knocked from her position in the middle of the room all the way to the wall. Her metal plated staff thrown across the floor, landing with a  loud clang. Astatine flung himself over to her to help her up, only to flinch back at the temperature of her hands.

"Silicon, you're getting really hot." He said nervously, it was obvious he was scared of her taking the wrong way.

"I'm aware of that." Silicon replied, standing up and dusting herself off. She kept throwing glances at the robot, now completely still. "I just don't understand why we are required to train like this. I mean, it'll help you, Astatine, but it won't help any of the rest of us."

"I'm guessing that they do it so that if we are ever stuck in a situation where our powers can't do anything, we'll know how to fight." Radon said, leaning on the handle of his sword. He was the reason of our group. He always knew what to say, what to do, and how to do it. He was a lot like Zinc in that way.  Only he was a lot more sarcastic, and could be quite critical and even rude.

Astatine was the joker, he was always messing around, although he was prone to extreme anxiety. His personality traits were quite confusing, as some completely contradicted others. For example, he was very nervous, but also impulsive, he didn't think about what he did before he did it. The trainers think it'll make him good in war, and honestly, I agree with them. He won't second guess himself, but he'll also know when it's time to stop.

That brings us to Silicon. She was not there the first day of training, so we decided to talk about what we thought she'd be like. And god were we wrong. What we had heard about her was that she was very kind, and always looking out for people. So we assumed that she was sweet and nice, cute and generous. We were way off. She's a short girl with a lot of moxy, and a short temper. She was not very strong, but very fast. Silicon was the most complicated of us, mostly because she was so unpredictable. Like Astatine, she was impulsive, but unlike him, she was so confident that if you showed her the scene of her death, she would laugh and tell you it was fake.

It was a week later. Our groups' training time was everyday at ten-o'-clock a.m. to three-o'-clock p.m.  We went to a room shaped like a square with extremely high ceilings. Astatine actually measured and they're twenty-one feet tall. The ground space wasn't scarce either. There was probably room to fit a whole battalion in there.

I snapped back to reality to find Astatine and Radon arguing over some battle tactic. Silicon just rolled her eyes and was walking to go pick up her staff.  When she had retrieved it, she was walking towards me. She stood beside me and laughed a bit.

"Aren't they the stupidest things on earth?" She asked me, chuckling and shaking her head.

"Yeah." I didn't think that. Astatine may not act like it, but he's actually really smart. And well, everyone knows that Radon is smart.

"Can you make them stop so that we can get back to training? They're not going to listen to me." She looked at me, now completely serious. I just nodded. I walked over to them.

"Guys we need to get back to training."

"Buzz off!"  Radon retorted. He never cursed. He was the best example I had seen that you don't need to curse to be rude or mean.

I sighed. We were really going to do this. I closed my eyes and opened them again. For dramatic effect I pointed at them.

"OW OW OH GOD ARGON SHUT IT OFFFF! OWWWWW!" Radon started yelling. He wasn't very strong, and took pain very seriously.

"AHHHHHH!~ ARGON STOOOOOPPPPP!" Radon kept yelling. Astatine was laughing at Radon despite being in pain. I wondered why he was laughing. I shut it off.

"Radon, you have no idea how wrong that sounds!" Astatine said between laughs, hands on his knees.

I heard Silicon hold in a laugh, she had to bite her tongue to keep from laughing. My attention turned back to Astatine and Radon, I was still confused.

"You look confused Argon, here, let ,me help." He said with a mischievous  smirk. He walked over to me leaned to whisper something in my ear.

I couldn't help but to look disgusted. Out of my other ear I head Radon say something.

"That's a long whisper...."

When Astatine finished, he took a look at my face and burst out laughing. Radon's was bright red, and he started yelling at Astatine. I couldn't make out what he was saying, Silicon and Astatine were laughing too loudly.

"It's not my fault you like to moan! By the way, that high pitched voice doesn't help." Astatine pointed out, trying to calm down.

"I do not! I think the problem is your brain!" Radom tapped the side of his head with his finger.

We had 13 days until we had to go to the front lines. I sighed as I watched the three of them laugh and argue. I closed my eyes. This was going to be a long thirteen days.
