I talk to my long lost Grandma all through the night. We eat cookies and laugh. She told me that she couldn't stand being at home any longer when my Grandpa died and so she came up here and started this place for lonely wanderers like herself. She asks me how I got there, and I explain the whole long story to her. She brings me over to the ancient payphone on the wall and dials my mother. She answers on the second ring. At five in the morning. My Grandma talks to her, then hands the phone to me. We are both blubbery sobbing messes and I am clinging to the phone for dear life. My mom will be picking me up tomorrow, and all is well again.
