August.

"I got your ice cream."

She groaned and turned over to grab the bowl from me. "Thanks" she mumbled. I nodded my head and sat down beside her rubbing her stomach.

"Feels good?" I asked softly only because she was so tense.

All I got was a head nod. She finished up her ice cream and put the bowl on the dresser.

"It hurts so bad! I hate being a girl sometimes I swear!" I laughed a little making her glare at me. "You'll be fine by tomorrow."

She shook her head "So glad I got off tomorrow, or it would've been a bad day for some people."

"Bet." I got up from the bed trying to put my shoes on. "Where you going?"

"I got studio time ma, got to get it in." I smirked walking over to her side of the bed to give her a kiss.

"You need anything before I go?" She shook her head and I left.

They don't ever see you like I do
First thing when you wake up
Before you put on your make-up
And they don't really know you like I do
Cause with me you ain't the same
You ain't gotta run no game
Girl cause what you do and what I do ain't different
We both on a mission
I love your ambition
And I know how it's to hit the block and get the guwap
And you know what it is to hit the stage and make it pop
Like damn I hope somebody spend some money today
And I pray nobody come and try to take it away
Cause I'm just out here doing what I gotta do
Cause all these fucking bills are due
And I see all this money to make
So girl you know that

I ain't judging you
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money
Baby I salute
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money
Make that money girl it's yours
Spend that money girl it's yours
You work hard for it, it's yours
Work that body baby it's yours
I ain't judging you
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money

Single mother in college
Working hard for them dollars
Girl we got something in common
Making money with ballers
See you pussy popping that onyx
Keep it clapping that magic
Got them niggas tricking at follies
Come on making this happen
Girl I love seeing your back bend
They cashing out and you cash in
They going broke and you working
Back broke when you twerking
I know how hard this shit can be when income is uncertain
Hustling just to make a way
I know you're thinking
Damn I hope somebody spend some money today
And I pray nobody come and try to take it away
Cause I'm just out here doing what I gotta do
Cause all these fucking bills are due
And I see all this money to make
So girl you know that

I ain't judging you
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money
Baby I salute
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money
Make that money girl it's yours
Spend that money girl it's yours
You work hard for it, it's yours
Work that body baby it's yours
I ain't judging you
Go and get your money, go and get your money, go and get your money

I finished up the song. "That's good mane!" Knuck spoke in the microphone. I put the headphones down and walked out the booth. We dapped each other up. "Lemme hear it one more time." I asked and he played it back.

Reginæ.

I struggled to get out of bed as I made my way into the bathroom. Reaching for the sink to rinse off my face, I immediately fell to the toilet throwing up. I hated having a period every month it was so tiring. After I was finished I got up to brush my teeth. I began stripping out my clothes preparing to take a shower since I felt dirty now.

--

"I brought some Popeyes." August told me as soon as he walked in the door. I was sitting in the living room watching TV. "Not hungry." I mumbled.

"Well you going to eat today, I know you haven't ate all day." He came over with the food in his hand.

"You don't know what I ate." I mumbled putting my focus back on the TV.

"Whatever man. Don't eat then" he groaned storming in the kitchen.

I sighed and laid on the couch watching Dance Mom's. I don't see why he's so mad that I didn't want to eat. I'm freaking sick and been throwing up so there's no use in eating.

I've never been this sick when my period comes on. I coughed a little bit and turned off the TV to go to bed.

Making my way into the room I didn't even speak to August since he has a attitude. I'll just wait til he speaks to me. I got in bed and turned on the opposite side of him. I felt the bed sink in as August laid his body next to me. He gently wrapped his arms around me and snuggled closer.

"I love you" he mumbled.

"I love you too August."

I closed my eyes and tried my best to sleep the best I could. I felt a lump start to form in the back of my throat causing me to jump up and run to the bathroom.

August came right after me holding my hair back. "Damn! " he groaned. I cried as I stood up. I washed my hands and brushed my teeth as August pulled me into a warm hug.

"You ight?" I shook my head.

"What's wrong baybeh?"

"I feel really bad August, I've never been this sick when my period comes on." We walked back in the room and laid back down.

"Well go see your doctor." I nodded my head in response because my head started hurting. "Goodnight baybeh." He kissed my temple and embraced me in his arms.

I really hope this is just a bad period they I've never had before. I hope its not a bug, because I can't afford of getting sick. I made a mental note to go to the health clinic soon.
