The wrong kind of better

The letter

At a hospital there isn't that much you can do, you can sit around and be bored, go to class, or you can aimlessly roam the halls (with permission of course). But the later is pretty difficult for some people, you see a hospital is a place that you go when you're hurt or sick, you stay here for a little bit then leave. Well that's not always the case, there's always the unlucky kids that have to stay longer, a lot longer. Like us, and soon you! Take Amy for example! She was the first of us to be emitted into the hospital, witch by sad defalt she has been here the longest. You see she has this thing we're if he moves too fast or gets to excited, well she faints. That already is problematic but on top of that she has sleep apnea with makes her stop breathing from time to time when she sleeps. Are you catching on yet? She was emitted about three months ago when she fainted at her school in gym class. Since she's been her the longest she knows the ropes of the place.    
Amy has always been a goody two-shoes. She still is but from time to time, she tends to go on a rule breaking riot. It's kinda funny actually, except for the fact that we normally get into trouble with her. We normally just call her cat though because she always seems to be asleep.
    Speaking of we, another one of these unlucky kids name is Mark the reason he's in the hospital is a strange one. Hes technically the hospital's secret guinea pig, you see Mark has a split personality disorder and they are trying to come up with pills to cure that. So to do that they needed a willing test subject. In steps Mark, the only reason they keep him at the hospital is to keep track on how fast the medicine works and how well. And you know if something bad happens to him he's already at the hospital. I guess the only reason he is really here is so the hospital doesn't have risk a lawsuit. He came here a month after Amy.  we call him two face.
    Then there's Tyler, at the age of 16 he had made quite the name for himself. Until he got in an accident, no one really knows what happened to him. I don't think even the doctors know, he and mark where friends long before they where shipped off here. We have a lot of nick names for him but my personal favorite is "stone face"
       Oh and I can't forget Dan and Phil. The two friends joined at the hip. Dan has extremely bad depression, witch is why he is here. Phil has a heart problem and he's waiting on a long list to get a transplant. The tragic story of the boy who need a hart and the boy who just wished his would go away.....
       Anywho! I'm Sean but everyone calls me jack! I'm from Ireland, I'm in this dump because, I got some fooked up lungs. They told me telling you who we are before we met you was weird and a bad first impression but I didn't know when you would get here and if all of us would be in the same place. We are really exited to meet you! Amy can't wait and show you some easy ways to get to sleep!!!

I smiled letting the letter drop down to my side. I think I might like it here
