I've got issues, you've got them too.

Chapter Five

Bettys P.O.V

When I arrived at Jugheads trailer we ate our food until we couldn't eat anymore. I went in to Jughead's room to get changed while he changed in the main space of the trailer.

"Do you mind if I take this blanket?" I had taken a blanket that was folded on the bottom of his bed.

"Sure. There's a pillow here too...um...if you want it". He handed me a pillow which was from the other side of his bed.

"Thank you." I took the pillow gently from his reach.

We said goodnight to each other and Jughead went into his room. Before he closed the door he asked "Are you sure you don't want to sleep in my room?"

"I'm not five anymore Juggie", I chuckled.

 I fixed the pillow that Jughead gave me in front of another small square cushion that was already on the couch. I pulled the blanket over me and tried to get to sleep. I heard the wind howling outside and the rain pouring down on the roof of the trailer. I heard a dog barking which startled me. I felt afraid that someone would break in. I was too scared, so I decided to walk over to Jughead's room and knock on the door. He opened it with a smirk on his face as if to say "I told you so". I felt embarassed so instead of saying anything I just smiled and walked in. 

"Of course your welcome to sleep in here Betty", he said in that sarcastic tone of his while closing the door.

"Thank you". He got his pillow and a blanket and started laying it on the floor. "Acctually Juggie would you mind sleeping next to me", I said blushing. He raised his eyebrows at me with a cute smirk on his face. "Next to me Jughead, not with me"

"Whatever you say". He gathered up the pillow and blanket and put them on the left side of the bed as I was on the right. It took me a while to fall asleep but eventually I did. I'm not sure how long it took for Jughead to fall asleep but I'm guessing it wasn't long after me.

Jugheads P.O.V

"Morning Betts.....Betty?". I woke up and she was not beside me so I went into the kitchen. There was a note left for me on the kitchen table that read:

Sorry that I had to go Jughead 

Kevin said it was urgent

See you soon,

Betty xxx

I laughed because she was always there for others, no matter how big or small the problem. 

In the press there was some cereal left and some milk in the fridge. I got a bowl, poured the remains of the cereal in, then the milk. It was soggy and it tasted stale (which it probably was), so instead I got dressed, shoved my computer and headphones into my bag and went to Pop's where I knew I would get something decent to eat.

Veronica's P.O.V

"Betty where are you", I thought to myself. Kevin was showing me how to play D&D and as much as I love him, I had no interest whatsoever. Just as we were about to start playing Betty walked in. "Betty!", we exclaimed in unison. 

We sat up on Kevin's bed and started to talk. "So Kev, what's so urgent", Betty teased.

"Well....." I gave him a nod and he continued, "Lastnight I was out jogging and I stopped at Pop's to get a milkshake and there was this guy, Joaquin, in a booth and asked me to sit, then we talked, he kissed me and I kissed him back. I gave him my number and then he found out I the sheriff's son, I found out he was a serpent and then we made a deal that I wouldn't tell if he wouldn't and yeah!", Kevin beamed with happiness

"A serpent", Betty raised one eyebrow.

"He doesn't do drugs, Betty", he said "Well Kev, if your happy I'm happy!

We all started giggling and then we talked some more about Kevin's new romance and other things happening at school, then we ended the night by going to Pop's and walking home.
