Chapter Seven

Betty's P.O.V

School passed by as usual but I couldn't help think about Jughead. I hope it did answer his question.

As I was walking home I decided to call Kevin to see if I could come over. He was my favorite friend to gossip with (besides V obviously). On the second ring he picked up.

"Hey Kev, just wondering if I could come over today if you're not busy?"

"Um..sorry B, Joaquin is over" Kevin fumbled.

I heard a muffled voice on the other side of the phone say "Who's B, preppy?". Which I'm guessing was Joaquin's nickname for Kevin.

"No worries I'll just-"

I got cut off by the beep of Kevin's phone.

When I arrived home there was no sign of mom, (surprise surprise) so I went upstairs to my room. I searched my bookshelves to find a book to read. I've read most of them. Twice. I found a book I hadn't read since I was fourteen. 'The Fault in our Stars'. It was a great book really.

Just as I started to read the first chapter I hear a knock coming from my window. Jughead. I opened the window to let him in.

"Hey there Juliet" he said.

"Jug you know I have a door" I said as he climbed in the window.

"What if your mom answered?" He smirked.

"She's as nocturnal as a bat, Jug." This made him laugh.

We stood there in silence for a moment until he suggested "Pop's?"

I grabbed my bag and we started walking.

*At Pop's*

Jugheads P.O.V

We walked into the diner and took our usual booth. After a minute or two Pop Tate walked over to us and said "The usual?". "You know it" Betty replied.

We shared many milkshakes and many laughs that night. We felt free of all the troubles that haunted us.

But we both new,
We were still the same old people,
In the same old town...

I also might be writing another story I have three ideas but I'm not sure which one??

1)A book of short bughead stories.

2)Made up tales of when Archie, Jughead, Betty etc. (The cast basically) were young.

3)A story about their lives when they are living in their own houses, children, jobs etc.
