Jugheads P.O.V

It was always the same in Riverdale, nothing ever changed. Get up, get dressed, go to school and come home to the same old family. Things at home weren't great. One day I came home and my mom and dad were fighting. I overheard them. Mom was going to move to Toledo with Jellybean and I was going to stay here. Next day, I wake up and there was no sight of Jellybean or mom.

It was 7:45 p.m. and I decided to go to Pop's because at home there was just dad shouting at the television with a bottle of beer in hand. Pop's was packed, all booths were filled except for one. I  sat there and ordered a burger and fries with a vanilla milkshake. Then I saw her, Betty Cooper. I always liked her but I knew she still liked Archie Andrews. One day I would make a move just not tonight.

It was always the same in Riverdale, nothing ever changed. Get up, get dressed, go to school and come home to the same old family. Dad had moved out, Polly went to raise her twins alone and mom re-joined the Serpents. They were like puppets and I was the puppeteer, holding on to everyone by their strings and if I let go everything falls.

It was 8 p.m. and I decided to go to Pop's. Mom was rarely home before twelve. Her usual time home was 3 a.m. and she was always drunk. Therefore I had to make my own dinner but half the time I went to Pop's. I walked in and to my suprise, all the booths were full. I would've brought it home but tonight I just didn't feel like being alone. And it was there i saw him, Jughead Jones. After Archie started dating Veronica I knew there was no point in me trying to win him over. So instead I looked out for someone new.

"Be brave." I thought to myself. I walked over and said hey, mind if I sit? Um..sure, he replied. He closed down his laptop and sat there quietly. Jug! what happened your face? There was a big bruise on his cheek and looked like he had been hit there more than once. It's my dad, he admitted, ever since mom and my sister Jellybean left he wasn't always in the best of moods. Sometimes he took his anger out on me. So I left him andnow I live at the drive-in. Oh no did I really just say all that out loud, he thought to himself. Oh my god, Jug... if I knew I would have offered- No Betty I shouldnt've said anything, goodbye. He cut me off and just like that ran out the door.

When I reach the drive in there were two people trashing the it Hey, h-hey, stop What are you doing this is my home! There was one man and one women. I couldn't get a hold of the man as he sprinted for his life, but I grabbed the woman by her shoulder and turned her around. And when I saw her face I was too shocked to do anything but stand there as she ran off.....
