The confession

(Previously: Two hours later it was getting colder, and the snow heavier, Yuki decided it was best to leave now)

They were going to leave until they decided to show Yuki the festival that was going around in town. "Andrew, can we show Yuki the festival?" Raiden asked, "Sure" Andrew answered them both holding one of her hands to help her walk. "Festival?" Yuki had never heard of such a thing, she's always been with Zeal and busy with everything. Even at the mention of Zeal the fear she had when she met  Destro comes back. Zeal can't protect her right now, she remained quiet practically ignoring Raiden. He was blabbering on and on about what a festival was, of course she listened to the non boring parts. It was 1:35 pm when they arrived to the east of town, there chinese lanterns were stringed from each stand. Stands with food, clothing, glass stuff and more, it was pretty cool to her but. She kept the fear off her mind by trying some of the new foods. Going down the long line of stands, she tried tons of new foods she never had before. They were delicious, some a bit too spicy and everytime she tried a spicy one she would squint her eyes and pant after swallowing the food. Andrew and Raiden were amused each time she ate a hot food, they spent hours being at this festival thing. The time would now be 4:11 pm, they paused for a moment. Raiden looked at the drinks, while Yuki and Andrew waited, Yuki stared at the stars and cliff in the distance. Starring off in space, she didn't notice someone was standing on that cliff. Someone familiar, was it...? could it be?... did Destro lie...? again.. she thought to herself. Shaking her head she couldn't believe what she saw, no, who she saw.. but they looked different, it was hard to till if it was Zeal from how far she was from the cliff. But she tugged on Andrews sleeve and asked if she could go to that cliff, "Andrew, can i go there" she pointed at the cliff. "Uh sure, but why?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, "I think someone i know is there" she explained. "Okay... but lets wait for Raiden though" he looked over at Raiden who was holding bottles of different sodas in his arms. And Raiden was walking to them with all those bottles, "Yuki, your telling me someone you know could be there, yet you didn't have anywhere to go?" Andrew looked back at her confused. "Yes, look i know its confusing, but believe me" she tugged his sleeve. "Fine, Raiden leave the bottles were walking somewhere" Andrew sighed, "WHAT! aw, ok" Raiden carefully set the bottles down, and followed them to where ever. Once at the hill, Andrew helped helped Yuki sit at the cliff. And then Andrew left to a tree about 20 foot away, "You came?" a familiar voice asked, "Zeal! of course i did, where are you?" she asked back. She couldn't see him right now, he came out from behind another tree and went up to her. "Zeal......." he had blue teal like hair, "what happened to you? and how are you here" she asked with her eyebrows lowered. "I ............ Destro came to hurt you, i remember you screaming, he had a hold of your ankle. And his fangs were digging into the wound on your foot... I don't exactly know how, but even in a different time in the world. I could hear your screams, and all i can assume is Destro was trying to torment me with your cries for help.." Zeal actually had a frown on his face, he was softening. He could actually show his emotions like he used to, when he used to be teased for being a demon with feelings. "Zeal... I wish... i wish i was able to actually fight back.." she had tears streaming down her face, "Yuki i'm going to tell you something i haven't said to you before okay..?" he gently smiled. "okay..." she was confused but feared he would say something about Destro. "Yuki, from the day i failed to save your wrist from Destro's fangs, i hated myself. I still do, for allowing such harm and fear come to you. But there's something i never want to happen, even though everyone says your purpose was to die. Your blood to be drank by the demon lords fangs. I don't want you to die, i don't want him to harm you like everyone else has. I want to keep you safe, even from him... what i'm trying to say is... Yuki for someone like me, a demon to have emotions, to care for someone is not normal. Like i've said i most be something besides just a demon, but... What... i'm trying to say is... Yuki i've fallen in love with you..." Tears went down both of their faces, their eyebrows lowered in sadness. And a frown appeared for them both.
